I experienced a situation where the item I ordered was no longer available. The HD Guys offered me the models replacement, and it was a satisfactory replacement, but the whole process took about a week longer than it should have. To their credit, they did send me, gratis, an HDMI cable that simplified installation In addition, the ground transport they said they would use was not used. Instead, a different delivery service that only delivered during the work week was used, a big inconvenience. |

My order was placed 4 weeks ago, on 1.22.10. As of today 2.19.10, I have not
received my TV, a tracking number or even an ETA for shipment. I have
worked with the merchant for resolution before posting this negative
feedback. During this time I have contacted the company several times via
telephone and email. The HD Guys have been inconsistent with
communication. I was offered many excuses as I tried to be patient for my
order. All may be valid reasons or excuses; however, my patience have run
out. After all the above, I do NOT have my TV. I would NOT recommend this
merchant to anyone. The HD Guys have not met my expectations. My next
step will be to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer
Complaint Agency and California States Attorney. Other merchants on
PriceGrabber.com have been fantastic. Recently I ordered a home theater
system from Vann's and a blu-ray player from Crutchfield. Both were shipped
with free standard shipping and received in less than 1 week from their order
date. TheHDGuys's Response: This customer has used foul language that no employee should take. He has use words with racial slurs that are unacceptable. Thus we refunded him 3 days later but he has not informed you guys that part. |

While the price of my TV is unbeatable, I was very leary about ordering from here. I made my decision after reading all the reviews from people who claimed to have wonderful service and would recommend them highly. I however did not experience anthing of the sort. Its been over 2 weeks since I placed my order, and almost as long since they charged my credit card and still I have not even received a shipping date. I have tried to make contact repeatably but kept receiving short, snippy replys stating that basically I needed to wait for 7 business days before it would ship. I have patiently waited and it has now been 9 business days since my card was charged. I have yet to receive any shipping confirmation. Had they attempted to contact me with a status or problem they were having I would not be writing this review. Customer service --NONE. I frankly would never buy anything from these people ever again. My advice, pay an extra few bucks and buy from a reputable merchant. TheHDGuys's Response: This customer had no idea that here in Cali we had so severe weather storm that it placed a complete halt on all our orders for a 1week. We do not want to risk water or snow damage to the TV's this size. And he did not know that ALL TV's that are 37" and LARGER ship via freight truck. But we refunded the customer and he too should know that we had floods and power outage in CA. Sorry but we will do better. |

I have still not received my tv as of 02-09-10. It will be 3 wks since the order was place this saturday. Though my credit card had its with draw within the same day as the order was placed.I had a personal phone call by the owner of the company explaining the conditions that caused my delay. I was impressed by there after hours effort. TheHDGuys's Response: Customer is not aware of the severe flood storm we had in Los Angeles during the 18th to the 23th and he ordered the tv on the 23rd. They had a flood and it took 2 weeks after charging my credit card before my order got canceled. They called me to let me know after I asked them what was going on. I don't like dealing with places that charge your credit card before they ship the goods. They may have done the best they could, given the conditions. On the other hand, they should have been a little faster about the refund. |

Waited for item 10 days, account was charged, then received email that I was getting a refund because the item was not available. A rep. did call to explain. He was so rude and unprofessional I hung up on him. TheHDGuys's Response: We informed the customer that since we have a retail store that we were not aware that the sales rep sold the last one. Also we CALLED the customer to inform him that the item is discontinued and to accept our apology about the ad running during a sunday without us knowing. We made a mistake and refunded you. However we tried emailing this customer, calling and sent a letter via UPS about the over selling and why we had to refund him. But he can wake up and write a review. |

After waiting for about three weeks; they didn't ship the product. I talked to customer service folks numerous time; they keep giving different excuses. Finally after three weeks, they cancel the order. Not reliable seller. TheHDGuys's Response: This customer is not telling you that he wanted us to GIVE him a $2000 TV and take a personal check once we deliver it to him. That will not fly with no company. |

The shipment was delayed due to challenging weather conditions, but the seller kept me regularly updated, and gave free 1 year extended warranty to compensate for the shipment delay.
