HP LaserJet P1005 - Small printer has a lot to offer

Strengths: 1. Compact size - measuring 14" x9" x8" 2. Capable of accepting pages up to legal (8.5 in x 14 in) 3. Very inexpensive price

Weakness: 1. Cable not included (as is true for most printers) 2. Does not support two-sided printing 3. Toner can be expensive (as is true for most printers)

I bought this laser printer from a promotion buy at Staples. And I am very satisfied, since the price of this compact printer is very close to an ink-printer. But as you may know that laser printers give you better use of the toner. It is also very small compared with many other laser printers, and can be put on the table without taking too much space. It doesn't print color.

Strengths: Small, nice design, cheap

Weakness: small cartridge, no separate manuel tray

it comes with a driver software cd with instructions instead of paper. Small cartridge prints upto 1,500 expensive compare to other brands small printers that will print 2,500. But it's good if you are not printing much and need to save some desk top space. Nice light weight P1005 Printer

Strengths: fast, good quality, light weight

Weakness: need better driver, won't work with wireless print server

I love this printer, I bought it on sale over the weekend for under $100 (couldn't resist a laser printer at that price!). Compact fast printer

Strengths: fast printing and small footprint

Weakness: No cables very very expensive toner

Nice printer fast and easy to use (as most printers are. Sparse on the toner that comes with it; i printed about 400 pages before it ran out. Replacement costs of toner makes this almost a throwaway printer.

Great Little Printer

Strengths: Fast pritnter, good quality

Weakness: Expensive tuner, small one provided

I just got it and and it is my first Laser printer. I never had a faster printer. Very useful for home/personal use. You also need to incvest in a USB 2.0 Cable.

Affordable printer

Strengths: Good quality fast prints low operating costs.

Its working fine with Vista without any porblems. Very useful for home / small office printing. its instant on technology you will get fist page printing faster than other printers. Initial cost on USB cable and toner cartridge are expensive.

We purchased 5 of these for our office at a rock bottom price direct from HP for our executives who needed individual printing units. So far there have been no issues. Setup was simple on both PCs and Macs, but did require installation of an HP driver. Nice budget printer

Strengths: Compact, very cheap, good text printing

Weakness: Manual duplex, more expensive toner, graphical poor print quality, cancelling jobs, only one paper feeder.

This is a budget laser printer. I bought it for $40 less than the cost of its toner ($64). Strengths: Good quality, Compact size

This is great printer for many basic print jobs! No problems at all, its fast, the print is crystal clear and the price is cheap! I bought it from staples. It is extremely quiet while printing and is quick. The best part is its small size.

Perfect for Thesis printing use

Strengths: Fast, high and clean quality

Weakness: Low orginal ink

I bougth this baby from a deal for only $50. I used it quite intensively during last month for my thesis. It worked perfect and i'm very satisfied with the printing quality. Only draw back was that the original ink run out very quick, i have to back a replacement for another $40. But still a good one for personal use.
