DC07 requires much care.. lots of love..... lots of...

Strengths: If treated well... Strong suction, quiet, stair easy, bagless.... etc.

Weakness: If not maintained on a regular basis The DC07 will not last very long.

I have the DC07 for almost 3 years now... I've learned the hard way that this vacuum cleaner requires much care and attention. If you allow to much build up... the motor will die. I have repaird this item myself twice..once replacing the motor. I honestly believe this vacuum is not for heavy duty cleaning... Just general cleaning around the house. I have another vacuum cleaner Eureka (over 10 yrs...

Dyson Sucks

Strengths: Pretty. I have the purple one.

Weakness: Most everything else. Oh, I do like the way it empties.

The Dyson is simply a fool me product. I've had it a bit over a year and a half and have had it repaired 2 times, plus one time repaired by myself. It gathers hair in such a way that the hair winds and winds around the brush that it can't pick up anything else. Try disentangling the hair from the brush and weep!! It's an awful experience! The belt is impossible to change. Other commentors are...

Do you get what you pay for?

Strengths: Unique design that claims to keep suction of vacuum constant regardless how much is in the waste container. Plenty of attachments. Very long power cord. Easy to roll. 2 yr. warranty. Easy empty.

Weakness: Unproven name brand. Heavy. Many gaskets that could become issues as the unit ages. Complicated to invert wand to use attachments. Only 2 height adjustments. Takes some getting use to.

Well. It came time to replace our vacuum and there is certainly alot in the market. Most good vacuums will be priced between $150 and $250. This unit sells for $399! It truly stands alone at nearly twice the average price for other bagless vacuums that claim to have the "cyclone" technology that some of you may remember was introduced with the Fantom line vacuums approximately ten years ago....

Dyson All Floors DC07 Vacuum

Strengths: Suction; ease of emptying container; build quality

Weakness: Hard to do corners and stairs; hose attachment somewhat unwieldly

Overall an excellent vacuum. Has excellent suction and cleaning ability. The overall build quality is excellent. Emptying the container is as simple as removing the container and pressing the button to open the bottom of the container over the wastebasket. The only reason for not giving five stars is the hose attachment. It's not as easy and quick to use as our old Hoover Windtunnel. The Dyson...

Dyson All Floors DC07 Vacuum

Strengths: Suction!! Extention hose, not having to buy any additional parts EVER!

Weakness: Kinda Heavy to carry for going up the stairs.

We went to a store where we bought another vacuum and then were able to try it out. Well the other one was about 180 less expensive, but we dumped stuff out and it didn't pick up ANYTHING compared to the dyson. It just pushed the dirt around where the dyson got all of it. The telescopic wand is a great thing, it got up high and all the way up my stairs without tipping over. You never have to buy...

Fantastic Vacuum Cleaner - Best I've Used

Strengths: Awesome cleaning power Light weight Easily maneuvered

Weakness: Can't think of one

I've used at least 7 vacuum cleaners (including the ones I used while growing up to earn my allowance) and this is easily the best. First of all, it's bagless. Clean up is so easy, it's a joke. The canister easily removes with the push of a button and the bottom drops out to dispense the refuse with the pull of a switch. Only Rosie (from the Jetsons) could make the task easier. Secondly, it's...

dyson dc07

Strengths: the color

Weakness: super hard to push, pushes anything besides dust around without being able to suck it up. Price

Bought this piece of garbage with high hopes, turns out it just very expensive junk. I paid 349.00 for this vacuum on sale and it could not perform as well as a swiffer carpet flick. I have to vacuum everyday because my daughter is always throwing cheerios from her high chair toward the livingroom area. This vacuum was super hard to push and the head didn't lift up enough to suck the cheerios....

Best Vacuum Ever

Strengths: Suction, No filter (or rarely) to clean/replace.

Weakness: Inverting hand wand is awkward.

Best decision and choice I ever made for a vacuum. It is absolutely true that the filter is rarely cleaned and should never need replacement. I have always wondered why a vacuum could not be made that separates the dirt from the air so efficiently that the filter is almost not needed. Also, because of the absolute separation of dirt from the air, the exhaust is clean and dust allergen free. I...

Don't waste your money and don't believe the hype

Strengths: No known strengths

Weakness: Is overengineered; does not clean below the surface of the carpet; needs constant maintenance in order to continue functioning.

I believed Mr. Dyson's TV commercials and thought that a Dyson would be the best vacuum cleaner I could buy. I guess it was the English accent. The first thing I noticed after vacuuming the rug was that the brushes on the bottom of the vacuum didn't dig down into the fibers of the carpet like other vacuum cleaners did. This disturbed me, but since there seemed to be a lot of dirt in the dust...

Dyson All Floors DC07 Vacuum

Strengths: Looks pretty

Weakness: Does not suck

Full of complex seals and gaskets which let go and are impossible for the user to fix, the Dyson sucks for a few months and then gives up the ghost. Take my advice: spend half the dollars on an Oreck.
