Great system in a small package.

Strengths: Portable and versatile. Folds flat for easy traveling. OK on sound.

Weakness: Does not have a carrying case. Does not have a clock or alarm. Need to purchase additional satellite speakers for bigger sound.

In all this system is great. It is easy to carry around the house and the beach. I just love the black casing which makes it look sophisticated in my bathroom so that I can listen to my IPOD too. The buttons are very easy to use. I would highly recommend.

This ipod speaker system is one of the best for the price and all the extra features. It has great sound with FM radio.The antenna really help the reception.It pulls out and you can position for best reception. I purchased a subwoofer with 2 more satellite speakers.With the subwoofer the bass is excellent.This is a great unit for the money. I highly recommends this system

Excellent Product

Strengths: Great sound, excellent features, very portable, and nice size.

Weakness: The buttons on the remote are bubbles. They work fine but in the future they will probably break. Also, battery on the remote is a special kind so it will be more expensive to replace.

Overall, I think this is an excellent product. The sound is great and carries into the entire room. This is one of the few docks that has plenty of features. I love the video output feature and the radio in addition to the USB plug to allow me to plug into the computer while the iPod is still on the dock. As mentioned above, the control is a bit flimsy but it works just fine.

The Altec Lansing IM600 outputs incredible sound system. I can listen clearly to the music over 30 feet. I wanted to get a sound system with am/fm radio. Did countless hours of research and for the price, this was the best choice.

Strengths: lots of features, compact design, remote, antenna for built in fm

Weakness: too expensive

lies flat with fold out shelf that has the controls, comes with a line in and s video connection. built in rechargeable battery (again is it proprietary I dont know at this time)charges ipod if plugged into wall but not if running on battery. well constructed. dont know much about output and frequency but it sounds rich to my untrained ear which ultimately is the question to ask.

Sound not the best

Strengths: Portability

Weakness: Sounded quite tinny. Not enough bass.

I very much liked its looks and portability but the overall sound was lacking bass. Must be something better out there. Beautiful rich black piano color and easy to setup.

Bad purchase

Strengths: Long battery life, compact, loud

Weakness: After one month the display broke, battery life decreased to about 2 hours, issues with the iPod dock

I purchased the IMG 600 for the beach and for the first month it worked really well. The battery lasted pretty much all day, it was loud enough for the beach, and it was easy to use. Great sound - questionable quality

Strengths: Sound quality with deep bass; Portable size; Price - found for under $100; rechargeable battery Remote

Weakness: Quality issues; No AM radio; Nag screen appears on iPhones

I really like the sound quality of this unit especially for the size and the price. The rechargeable battery gets 6 hours per charge easily. The remote works well, but won't allow you advanced features such as changing menus. The USB version does charge an iPhone, but you still get a nag screen saying it isn't compatible with iPhones. Altec Lansing IM 600

Strengths: Very good sound for small speakers. Long battery life. very handy around house

Weakness: No handle to carry. No Case to put in.

Bought this for my wife and I use it with my Creative Zen. Remote works up to about 15ft. Very happy with purchase especially since I was about to drop 300 on a Bose Soundock.
