Strengths: tiny size & cute
Weakness: slow performance, Not readyboost compatible.
The design and its size is really well built. Very cute to carry around. One thing I don't like about is the speed since I'm used to the sandisk titanium. Copying large files in vista shows about 3.5 MB/s. It's not too slow, but kind of slow for a modern USB drive. I still like it because of the tiny size. I got mine for $ 0.95 using google checkout so I'm really happy with my purchase.
Strengths: small
Weakness: speed
This product is very small and portable. Because of its size, it's also easy to lose, so make sure to attach it to your keyring or something. Its capacity is just average compared to many flash drives available in the market. This drive is OK for everyday data transfer, but not very good for permanent storage. You can't expect to store a lot of music or pictures in this drive. Data transfer is...
Strengths: Very small, Kingston reputation.
Weakness: None.
I purchased a digital picture frame for my wife for Christmas and when I was reviewing different frames one comment kept coming up... "The USB drive sticks out past the frame." I didn't think this was a big deal until I received the frame and plugged my standard (stick of gum) sized USB drive in. They were right... it does stick out like a sore thumb! I stumbled across this drive while searching...
Strengths: tiny, Small, cute, works great, convenient
Weakness: fragile
I bought it about one week ago. It is a great deal for the price. It is cute and tiny and cool. I like the design very much. However, the fancy little slide-over piece that is supposed to protect the plug is really hard to click out of the open or closed positions. The cover only slides forward to the edge of the plug, so the front end of it is just as exposed as it would be without the cover....
Strengths: Tiny, Cute, and no cap to loose
Weakness: Speed is not very fast, but still OK
I like my mini drive not only because it's very cute and tiny, also it's sliding cap make me not need to worry about losing it (Actually I did loose one on my old flash drive). It very easy to work with and I have no any problems about sliding the cap; however my huge friend does think it too tiny for him. The speed of this flash drive is not as fast as I expected, but it's still OK for both of...
Strengths: Tiny.
Weakness: No cap.
This is an insteresting design. It is tiny and it has an retractable cap. But I think this is also its weakness. Although I don't need to worry about losing cap, this retractable cap is not seal all interface and it wouldn't protest dust, sand etc.If it wouldn't protest interface, I don't understand why this cap is needed. Also it cost me $28 from buy.com , is it overprices?
Strengths: 1) Tiny (almost too tiny) 2) 1GB is a useful size 3) retractable connection mechanism is much better than a cover
Weakness: 1) It is almost too small... it would be easy to lose 2) The retractable connector is clever, but I feel weird pushing on the metal connector to close it. I'm a little afraid of zapping it with static
This is a great little drive, and, due to its small size, it has become my current favorite. It is almost too small in that it would be fairly easy to lose. However, as long as you keep track or it, you'll love it. 1GB is a pretty useful size as well, and it comes at a good price point. Having a retractable connector instead of a cover is a great idea. However, unlike bigger drives that provide a...
Strengths: Small
I love it! It is very small and cute. The sliding cap is very nice because I don't have to worry about losing it. The transfer speed is not very fast, but okay.
Strengths: Very compact size, retractable cap/cover
Weakness: Average performance
The clear advantage of this drive is its compact size, being less than 1.5 inches long and less than 3/4 inches at its widest. The sliding cap is also nice. No separate cap to loosen and get lost. The small size also helps it's durability. One would have to actively try to damage it to do so. Of course, being so small, I suppose it could be easier to lose the drive than a larger one. I have not...

compact thumb drives
Strengths: - small size
Weakness: - confusing markings - slow - hard to grip
These are nice small USB drives. Writing is fairly slow, so they are not the best choice if you are often in a hurry. Maybe it's just me, but I always try to plug them in upside down, since they are marked "Kingston" on the bottom. The top has a not very obvious drawing of a moai (I think). The drives are small enough that it is hard to get a grip on them if something else is plugged into an...
