McAfee not up to par in my book

Weakness: consumes resources
If you spend a lot of time online, you will benefit protection and security provided by this software. Installation is easy with simple to follow instructions. However, this software seems to consume a lot of system resources. It also slows down the startup process of the computer. But, I guess it is just doing its job protecting the computer.

I've used a great deal of security software over the years, and as far as commercial products go, I like Mcafee the best, and this latest Total Protection suite strengthens their position. While it can be a bit obtrusive, at least you know it is actively working to protect your machine.

As the name "Total Protection" implies, this program covers everything. Looks like it makes the machine pretty secure, too.
