Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision Webcam - Silver

Excellent camera!

Strengths: Great picture, built-in microphone

Weakness: A little heavy for laptop use.

Great camera which instantly works with Mac OS X's iChat. Also works with Skype on a PC without installing any software. The video and sound work great. I liked it so much I bought another one.

Too expensive

Strengths: all logitech cams are great

Weakness: price, no stand, only goes on top of flat screen, and not ideal for notebooks.

I have noticed that all Logitech cams are the same they all have a clear picture and quality is nice with the 1.3 pixels and nightlight 2 technology is great for places like my dark basement but if you are in a bright room or a well lit room you will be fine with right light technology don't need to spend extra for the 2. Not that Great............but ok

Strengths: Looks nice, zoom and pan features and face tracking

Weakness: Expensive and not clear for the price.

Overall this webcam is only ok. Quality of camera is only ok. Don't really see much of a difference from other webcams besides the extra features. Also people should keep in mind that this camera is really not for the notebooks. It's big....alot bigger than others. Facetracking is neat. Pan feature is there but limited due to the design of the camera. Very expensive, maybe not worth it.

I find this to be a top of the line webcam, but i think Logitech is getting lazy with thier software. This cam is capable of so much more then it is delivering. At the price of this cam Logitech needs to get on the ball before someone else, like Creative Labs, takes thier customers. I still would recommend this cam. The cheaper Logitech QuickCam Fusion works just as good though.

The best webcam I have used

Strengths: Looks sharp, has some nice extra features with build in microphone.

Weakness: Got some installation trouble.

This is the best camera that I've got so far. The picture is very clear but the price was expensive and the size is a little bulky. After I un-install it from my desktop, I can't re-install it back by any way except re-install windows. but anyway, this is the best webcam I have used.

Bigger and Better Than I Thought

Strengths: Built more solidly than other cameras

Weakness: none to date

It's hard to go wrong with a 2yr warranty. I've had good experience with Logitech's higher end products. They're rugged, long lasting items. And this is Logitech's top of the line product of their web cams.

EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH THE PRICE

Strengths: Super quality. Good refresh rates.

Weakness: Holder is not firm. Expensive.

This product is awesome even on full screen mode. It's a bit expensive but worth it though. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.I would recommend that you to buy this product if you can find it around $80.
