Infocus IN72 Projector Review

Strengths: Bright Excellent Picture Lower Fan Noise

Weakness: Size Appearance Color No Lense Cap

I brought this projector to replace an Infocus projector SP4805. First, I have a better movie watch experience due to its lower fan noise; I can now concentrated more on the movie rather then being distracted by the fan. Secondly, the picture it display is vivid and bright, and I don't experience any Screen Door Effect on this projector. However, there are some minor thing that I don't like about...

Great Projector!

Strengths: (1) Really impressive pictures; (2) Very convenient to use; (3) Price is relatively atractive;

Weakness: Not so many choices for the connection; a little bit noisy

With this stylish projector, it is really easy to turn your living room to a real theatre. After using it for almost one month, I'm still very happy with the quality. Well, as somebody else said, I'm a little bit worried about the replace of the bulb, which might not be cheap. But considering the life of this bulb about ~3000hrs, it is too early to say replacement... Again, I recommend this...

you will love it

Strengths: great video(hd, dvd) quality, easy to set up

Weakness: none so far, only concern is that how long the expensive bulb is going to last

This is one of the best affordable projectors in the market. It has a great video quality, i used it to watch dvd movies and I can say that it is definitely awesome. It also has HDMI input, so if you have comcast, i strongly recommend it because they will give you the cable along with the receiver. I have not tested how it is to play xbox games on it, but I am sure it will be fantastic...

My First Buy, great projector

Strengths: 1) Awesome picture quality, even under 2 75 watts lamp the projection was bright. 2) Very quiet, no humming from the fan 3) Cool design.

Weakness: 1) No USB interface for PC connection, would love that, but not exactly a weakness.

Great affordable product for movies with sleek design and awesome picture quality. I bought this like 10 days back, have watched quite a few movies, even with divx's the quality have been very good. The projector is ready to go, just power it, and connect to the source. The menu is very easy to navigate. + the remote has a blue lighted buttons which can be turned on or off for easy access . Would...

nice home use projector

Strengths: vivid color, easy connection

Weakness: none so far

Bought this projector for home usage. I basically use it to watch DVD movie and HDTV. The color is very vivid and it can support up to 11 feet length. You need a big screen or a big wall. The life of the lamp is long, 3000 hours. Suppose you watch movie with it 3 hours a day, you can have this projector for 3 years.

Excellent first projector

Strengths: Excellent picture, screen size up to (rated) 165 inches, digital inputs, great price

Weakness: None so far, little weary about bulb replacement

This is my first projector purchase, so I can't really compare it to anything. However, I am completely satisfied with it. I was able to purchase this projector for $700 including tax after rebates and price matches. This is a DLP projector, with a set of component, HDMI, S-video, and DVI inputs. The bulb is rated at 3000 hours. I looked into bulb prices, and at the moment, Circuit City sells a...

Great projector for movies!

Strengths: Bright, great color depth, dark blacks, crisp whites

Weakness: DVI requires special cable as the plug is slightly larger than regular DVI

I bought this projector to use in my mobile DJ events for showing music videos and photo slideshows of the event (by hooking up to my MacBook Pro's DVI output. The projector does a great job of projecting on walls and projector screens and is nice and bright. The colors seem to be perfect and the blacks are nice and dark. I have used this projector in my back yard as well to have an outdoor movie...

Not disapointed. Happy

Strengths: wide screen features and great picture quality. Great contrast and awsomef while playing first person shooting games on ps2 or ps3. Nice design and good buy for the price 599.00 circuit city.

Weakness: bigger than your average projector.

looked around and compared many this has the value for the buck and is not a disappointment. I was hesitant to purchase but looked around and saw that this Item has been marked down dramatically, would purchase again. Good buy, happy now.

Great projector at an affordable price!

Strengths: This is a great projector, not really entry level and has a lot of features at the price. The projection on a wall is good quality too so you dont have to buy a screen seaparately.

Weakness: The only weakness i could find was the keynote setting if projecting top down from a height - the settings are okay.

Overall a good projector to watch movies on your home theatre - I got this at a good promotional price too and the features are good enough. There are better models available in the LCD range but they come at a steep price too. Recommended to buy!

great image, poor functionality (computers)

Strengths: the projector has great picture quality and a low noise output.

Weakness: computer hookup is impossible

I love the projector itself, it has great picture quality and a low noise output. I am very disappointed with it's non-ability to be hooked up to a computer using a VGA for better quality. yes, you can hook up an s-viedo cord, but I don't have an output s-viedo so i had no way of using my computers high graphics on the HD projector. I was disappointed with hooking up by using my computers VGA...
