Panasonic SDYD250 Automatic Bread Maker with YeastPro

A marvellous machine!

Strengths: It does everything exactly the way Panasonic says it will

Weakness: Don't try to vary the given recipes or you'll have a disaster

We live in Canada and had to order our SDYD250 bread maker from an outlet in New York City. For some absurd reason, Panasonic has decided not to sell this model, or any other bread-maker, in Canada. Makes no sense to us — but with the Canadian dollar currently at par I guess it matters little. Don't buy any other machine — they're simply not as good.

As a 14 year automatic bread baker, I love my new Panasonic bread maker! I bake a loaf 3 times a week, on the average.

Strengths: Great results for every receipe, easy to use, quait

Weakness: None so far

This is our first bread maker and we are quit happy with that. The instructions are perfect and the matchin is very easy to oprate. The quality mostly depends on the yeast from our experaince but results are always satisfactory.

This is the best maker you can buy. I have tried them all and I am not kidding. The yeast dispenser is a good idea, especially in delayed-start mode. This keeps the yeast dry and separate from the other ingredients until mixing is underway.

Strengths: It takes a few minutes for measuring the ingredients and clean up is a breeze.

Weakness: None - this machine is PERFECT!!!!!!

This Panasonic Bread Maker (SD-YD250) makes the best loaf of bread that you would ever want, perfect every time and the taste is unbelievable. As other users review that there machine did not dispense all the yeast, I just wanted to mention that my machine dispensed all the yeast with no problem every time. Strengths: Awesome... Flexible, it seems to do just about everything. Operates quickly and quietly. Endless features, yet very simple to use. The bread quality is truly amazing.

Weakness: The bread goes too fast. Quick yeast dispenser didn't quite dispense everything... (not a big deal)

I admit, I'm spoiled and I prefer homemade bread to anything. I was very pleasantly surprised by the bread that this machine makes. We have been very impressed with both the quick mode and the normal one. It's been a very solid machine so far and will be getting plenty of use at our house. Strengths: Easy to use and clear.

Weakness: Can be even larger.

This is my first bread machine and I absolutely love it! The first loaf I made came out perfectly, as all subsequent loaves did. Our favorite so far is Raisin Egg Bread, which makes a fabulous breakfast food item (follow the egg bread recipe from the manual, but bake it with the raisin cycle and add raisins). This bread machine is on reasonable price and is smaller than others. Home made bread is always my favorite because I can choose or mix differents falovers in one. The default functions is enough to me if I select some special breads. During the whole processes, it is quiet than I expected. It is really nice and well design. Recommend

I've tried several different recipes with different settings. They have all turned out great so far. It is quiet during the whole procedure. The automatic yeast dispenser is a great feature.
