Synopsis: Matt Groening applied the same sensibility that made THE SIMPSONS a household name to the creation of this sci-fi spoof, incorporating hilariously obscure pop-culture references and blink-and-miss-it sight gags into its vision of the future. Fry (Billy West) is a hapless pizza delivery boy who accidentally gets himself cryogenically frozen, waking up 1000 years later in the year 2999. He finds himself working for his great-great-great-great-nephew, Professor Farnsworth, as a courier for an intergalactic service. The staff also includes Leela (Katey Sagal), a feisty cyclops whom Fry befriended when she was still a fate assignment officer, and Bender (John DiMaggio), a chemically dependant, suicidal robot.
