When I called the toll free number to ask a question after it was already ordered and shipped it was then I was unsatisfied with their telephone customer service. The person was rude and ignorant about the product. Told me all the info I need was in my email and hung up on me. Needless to say I was concerned whether this was a legit company or not. Quite frankly your customer service people need some very serious training. They act as if I was wasting their time! The package arrived in a timely manner and was exactly what I order at a good price so in that I am very pleased. But please do something about your customer service people!!!!	Overall Rating

I placed the order online and gave my credit card and received the invoice. After being asked to call them for fraud protection, the rep told me that they will not sell it to me at that price and thus my order was being cancelled. I was offered to buy the camera at a special discounted price that was higher than the new price listed on the website (they had since caught their error). The rep was very rude and was making me out to be a rip-off artist - simply because I placed an order with them. I am very disappointed in this company - with all the good reviews, I thought the experience would be different. I would only recommend buying from this company if you want to only pay full retail. I placed the order in the afternoon and received the next day. I had cancelled an order with a different merchant (lowest merchant) because the item was not going to be deliverd when that merchant said, five working days. it was going to be three weeks or more even though the item was in stock. FuturePowerPC saved the day and I was able to give my wedding gift on time and still saved a lot of money...well worth one dollar more than the lowerst merchant who could not deliver. I would definitely order from FuturePowerPC again and recommend to anyone.	Overall Rating

Prices are good but i'd stay away and avoid there headaches and horrible run store. Retailer Response (02/01/2008): At Future Power PC we love our customers. We Love this customer so much we broke our own return policy rules to allow this return beyond 30 days. We go the extra mile but this customer packaged his return WITHOUT the origional manufacturer packaging and as a result his item returned scratched! Not only did he expect to return his item missing parts he felt he was SPECIAL enough to break out store policies time and time again. We love our customers, but it's unfortunate that this customer bought an item he did not research, did not read return policies and did not care about keeping the contents for his return. My order sat in New Order Status for 2 weeks until I called FuturePowerPC to inquire. They told me that the item was not in stock - should be back in stock soon. The web site still listed the item In Stock. I called several times to check on status especially since the site continued to list the item In Stock. One time I was told the site was out of date. Another time I was told the site had already been updated would show the backorder status the next day (it never showed anything but In Stock). After 3 weeks my order status on their site changed to Canceled - fortunately I checked online because they did not notify me that they had canceled the order. Now they tell me that they will not be stocking this item. I do not trust this merchant. Their stock status can not be trusted. I will not order from them again. I wasted 3 weeks - fortunately this was not an emergency. Retailer Response (01/28/2008): This customer placed an order for a rare hard to find LCD Monitor. He was notified via phone that it was not instock and he would not get his shipment. While we like to complete all of our orders in a timely fashion this item was unavailable, and as such removed from our website and the customer informed of the uncertain ETA. Please use common sense when purchasing from any online vendor, contact customer service and if an answer is not clear enough for you please ask for a supervisor. If you feel you are \"wasting time\" please let us know so that we can properly address your frustrations.	Overall Rating

However, when I received the card, the packaging was *horrible*. I've been receiving parts from various online retailers lately for a new PC build, and this was by the far the worst packaging job. It was a standard shipping box, and inside was: 1) the graphics card box 2) a single piece of wadded up paper ripped from a paper bag. The second item was the only attempt at protecting my order from damage. Luckily, the card did well during shipping. I would think a company "FuturePowerPC" would understand what items, such as expensive high-end video cards, need extra packaging protection to avoid damage.	Overall Rating

However, these 5 star ratings completely offset the really bad 1 star ratings that come up periodically. Here's my story with [ ] to highlight the important parts: I called customer service because I got an email saying I had to confirm my order. The lady asked for the card holder (my mom). The billing address was incorrect, (my fault) so she tried to tell the service lady the correct one. However, [the lady didn't want to hear it. She raised her voice and assumed that the card was stolen and demanded that my mom call her bank to find out her billing address. She then hung up on us.] After calling back and confirming our billing address with a different person, I got another email saying my banking info was incorrect. They hadn't asked for it on the phone. I cancelled my order. Way too strict and terrible attitude problems. Retailer Response (01/24/2008): As admitted this customer was trying to use his mother's credit card. At FuturePowerPC we attempt to verify as much information as possible to protect our customers from fraud and internet thieves. Unfortunately for this order, even after the billing information was updated it still did not match their banking information prohibitting us from processing their credit card. We are constantly looking for fraudlent orders and maintain a low level of internet theft.	Overall Rating
