barbarakoltuv from unknown Member Since: 08/14/2006 View Member's: Reviews	There are at least a dozen Sony Vaios in the TX series and except for these folks at ecomElectronics none of the sellers, including SonyStyle people could tell me what the differences were between the many models. ecomElectronics carried all the models, including the discontinued ones, and knew the diferences between them. They are, knowledgeable, communicative, patient, flexible AND they consistentley had the best prices on all the Vaio TXs. They also had an excellent array of accessories and a working understanding of the maximum memory each model could support. I would buy from them again, and have already recommended them to my family and friends.	Overall Rating

I asked if it was in stock and was told yes, double checked that it would have a U.S. warranty, was in an unopened box with all items included, and that the price on the website was correct. The answer was "yes" to all questions. I said I would like to place the order. I was asked if I would like an extended warranty or anything else. I said no. The seller politely took my credit card number and processed the order. I had my new notebook within 5 days. It all seemed so easy that I was waiting for the catch. THERE WERE NONE. Thanks guys! I did a lot of shopping around and was able to get a cheaper price than from other merchants, even after calcuating in shipping price since there was no charge for ground. Order came earlier than quoted. The only drawback is that the site does not offer much information on the products, but if you know what youre looking for, its a great vendor to purchase from. I checked on the FEDEX website and in my estimation, shipping should have been more than even ecom were charging. They probably get a discount. Their deal beat all the others I looked at including all others's shipping so I decided to look at buying all I needed from eComelectronics since I was getting the best deal.	Overall Rating

I have never purchased refurbished before. I called to place the order by phone to ask on the condition and was assured that the model I was looking for was what they call a class "a" remanufactured and this it will come in the as close to new condition as possible, without any scratches. I paid a little extra for express delivery because they said it was shipping from an east coast location. The unit did come on time but I noticed that it did ship froma west coast location so paying the extra for the shipping was not really needed. I did not call them about it, the laptop came as they said it would and arrived on time, I guess it doesnt matter. Overall though, a positive experience.	Overall Rating

I felt safe enough since they accept PayPal so I took the chance. I'm glad I did. eComm Electronics has excellent customer service, they always responded to my emails within a few hours, usually sooner. Plus I was fully expecting one of those "shipping verification phone calls", you know the ones where they just try and sell you more stuff that you don't need, I didn't get one from these guys and I was thrilled. Web interface was easy to use, although I disliked that UPS requires a signature for delivery. Wow...did I get a pleasant surprise. The order was shipped the same day I ordered it and arrived in great shape in 2 days. The sales dept called us the day of sale to verify the order and to see if we wanted more memory or an extended warranty. UPS messed up and could not find me and was giving me hell on the phone. One of the guys in service helped me and went back and forth with UPS to get it to me, they were actually going to send it back to them.
