Next day they called and said the trucker wouldn't ship without $195 insurance (as though they had never shipped a TV). I reminded them of the free shipping statement, and they said everybody does it that way, but they would include $595 worth of insurance for just $295 (or maybe $395?), basically hidden charges of $200 to $500. Store followed-up the next day BUT will try to sell you additional insurance, $170, which would technically make the price not the best overall. I had to say I would think about it. Called the next day 10/05 to say I would cancel coz I found a cheaper-local seller and sales rep said that theyll waive the insurance for them to keep my business. From the conversation they led me to believe that the processing/delivery time would still be 7-10 days as first discussed on the initial inquiries. Ive been patient, and on 10/13 I called in for any updates (if my TV was shipped already) becasue on my account it still says processing. Seller followed up with me 10/18,apologized and accepted their mistake and made good ammends by shipping it right away (3-5 days w/ tracking) and also said going to give me a $90 surge protector for the trouble.
