I preordered a video game, they immediatly took the money from my account. After the release date when my kid asked when he should have his game I looked to see where it was in the shipping process only to find out it was backordered! I wrote them to cancel the order they claimed it has begun the shipping process soI can't cancel now I have to wait to see when and if my kid will ever get his game. I will NEVER use them again even if they were 99% cheaper!! Overall Rating

Pros: Decent prices on some selections. Cons: In stock not displayed till you put in your cart. I was looking at movies, yet there were many that did not even have a synopsis, and most did not have a review of any sort. This is a horrible merchant. My item appeared to be in stock on the web site. 6(!) days after ordering they contact me that it was unexpectedly back ordered (don't they have an inventory system?!) but they would not let me cancel my order. I had to pay another merchant big bucks to get 2nd day shipping plus now I have the original order as well because the item was a present. I will never buy at DeepDiscount.com again. Overall Rating

Took my money but then canceled my order due to a pricing error on their part(which they never notified me of). That would be fine if they returned my money immediately, but they did not. A month later, I called, and waiting for 52 minutes on hold they told me of the cancellation. I wanted them to just send me the product I bought, they blew me off. Their 'solution' was for me to place a new order at the higher price, even though they still had my money from the first order! They finally returned my money 3 days later, but If I hadn't called, they would have stollen my money. This company is crooked, stay away! Overall Rating

I ordered an item in December, and my credit card was immediately charged. After 4 weeks, the order status still said "not yet shipped", even though the item showed as in stock on their site, and my credit card had already been charged. I called their support number, and was told that they had canceled my order several weeks earlier because of a pricing mistake. I asked when I would get a refund, and the woman I was talking to tried to convince me that my credit card hadn't actually been charged. I wasn't able to convince her that it was, but she said to fax in proof that I was charged and I would hear back within 24 hours. I faxed in proof, never heard anything directly from them, but 4 days later got the refund. If I hadn't called to ask about the status, though, I bet they'd still have my money (not knowing that they'd charged me in the first place) and never tell me the order was canceled (since they'd canceled it weeks earlier without any notice.) This place is nothing but trouble. If it goes allright thats ok but if you have a problem FORGET IT. 7/10 I ordered. it's 1/11 I still don't have anything including my money. I sent three emails and called twice. The second time I called was in October they said I waited to long to resolve the problem and was taking to much of their time. They said they had my emails but Said I should have called as well rather than write!. Go somplace reputable. All this over less than $7. Who has the time for it! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM HERE THEY ARE WORTHLESS!!!! Overall Rating

Never do business with this vendor. They do not honor their own pricing mistakes. That, or they are using a typical bait-and-switch tactic. Either way, you won't necessarily get what you paid for. They hide behind their own obscure policy to cancel an order and not tell you when they do: Thank you for contacting DeepDiscount! We do apologize but your order was cancelled due to an error in pricicng that day. We have a policy regarding this situation that can be found here http://www.deepdiscount.com/error-omissions-policy/. They can't even spell "pricing" or "canceled" correctly. No wonder they have "pricing" errors on their site. Overall Rating

This company has gone down hill, big time. My order had money taken out of paypal, put back again, a partial amount taken out, put back again, taken out, put back then finally full amount taken out...what on EARTH is this company doing??? I'd love to tell you, but they have so far completely IGNORED 3 emails sent to them asking about the order which is yet to arrive despite them saying it would taken 5-10 days. My order status has gone from pending to shipped to open (so NOT shipped then). I received an email saying it SHIPPED when it obviously did NOT ship at all!! Liars. Avoid at all costs, even an attempt to cancel the order is a "request" to cancel....seriously, a REQUEST? They might cancel it if they feel like it??? Come on! I cancelled my order today, and apparently, my request is DENIED because it is 'processing'...a month later no DVDs and NO you can't have your money back. Horrible site. Avoid. Overall Rating

It's hard to share it in only 1000 characters, but to make a long story short. I am deeply disappointed in DEEP DISCOUNT and will NEVER use them again! I ordered from them some items that were on back order , and when it came time for them to ship out, they apparently had a mishap with paypal, which paypal claims they have no record of. When I called to straighten things out, they left me on hold for a half hour, then when they wouldn't help me, I tried talking to a Supervisor thinking he may be reasonable, but he was not! I had bought the items during their winter sale and so got them at a good price. When the mishap happened, altho not might fault, I offered to pay a different way, and they refused, saying that they had to charge the full amount. How do you call that good customer service and customer satisfaction? Also, their communication via email is all messed up. So they just lost a good high paying customer from the past! BEWARE! It has been 2 weeks since I placed my order and I still have not received it. I have attempted to email them a number of times on the status and get the same automated email back. I have attempted to call a number of times to it ringing once and disconnecting. When I finally got through on the phone I sat on hold for over 30 minutes finally hanging up because nobody picked up. I will never order from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. I've never had such a horrible experience. I'm amazed they are still in business with how horrible their service is. Ordered an Onkyo TX8555 stereo receiver. Received immediate confirmation from vendor, but never a shipping confirmation. Went to vendor's Website and tried to log on to my account to check my order status but it didn't recognize me. Sent vendor an e-mail inquiry (only way to contact them) and they responded pretty quickly by calling me. Said they had problems with their system; however, my order was in the queue and would ship immediately. After two more days, still no news so once again I tried to log on to my account. Same results, the Website still did not recognize me. Sent vendor another e-mail and this time they did not respond. Waited another day and sent another e-mail informing them I would cancel my order if they did not respond in 24 hours. Needless to say, they never responded, so I canceled my order. Not a great way to run a business (I've had my own business since 1979, so speak from experience). Overall Rating

They have the WORST customer service of any company I have ever dealt with in my life. I tried calling to check the status of my order several times and was placed on continous hold for over an hour each time. I tried their automated line for order status and it stated my order number was invalid even though I go it off their website under my order history. I emailed them and they responded over a week later (when their auto response says 1 business day) stating it had shipped 11/23 and would arrive no later than 12/4. e-mailed them back again after it didn't arrive 12/6 and they stated they couldn't track it and I just had to wait. Today 12/7 I received an automated email stating my order has shipped today and it should arrive no later than 12/21...lets hope they aren't lying this time due to the fact that this is a Christmas gift for my 5 year old!
