Ordered an Apple eMac and was told everything was in stock. Order was shipped minus floppy drive and extra RAM because they were back ordered. I ordered 2 RAM chips one was shipped with the order the other back ordered. I am expected to install the extra RAM - this is their "free installation." There used to be a charge for installing extra memory but they don't charge anymore - because you do it. |

Ordered a product and paid extra for 2-day air shipping. The product was not received for 4 days with no alert from CDW. When I called to complain, I was told that it must have been backordered. I received no alert of that. The rep basically told me I was lying and they would make no amends. I would not recommend using them. Any company that puts the customer's needs last doesn't deserve your business. In addition, you will not be guaranteed to get your product when you expect it. |

CDW's shipping charges on PriceGrabber for a Powerbook says $13.34. When you check shipping on CDW's own web site the cheapest shipping price is FedEx Ground $29.32. Will you buy from a store that lies and cheats? I will not. |

I ordered a compact flash card from CDW,they called back a few days later and cancelled my order because "the card was discontinued" and wanted to sell me something else. CDW better learn how to keep their website updated. CDW is only interested in big corporate orders, not individual customers. |

CDW has always been a pleasure to work with. Their website is almost too good to be true! I can check whether or not it has shipped from the warehouse and then can get the tracking numbers right there. Clicking on them takes me right to the carriers sites. All of the instock orders I have placed ship the same day, and I get a confirmation call from my dedicated account manager everytime! |

One of the most rude salesmen i have ever come across in my online shopping experience. The guy was loud and abnoxious. My order status was declined and no one informed me, therefore, i lost a major customer. This was a horrible experience and i totally agree with other who have had same experience with this company. |

This company is going to lose many customers because of stupid policies. This is the only company that asked me to fax them front and back of my credit card and driver's license. I don't feel comfortable at all sending my DL number with my credit card number. If you want to avoid identity theft DON'T SHOP AT CDW. And it used to be such a nice company when they started out. |

I opened an account with CDW less than 1 year ago and placed an order. When I didn't receive the order I found it had been cancelled. I contacted CDW and they informed me my account had been corrupted. When they re-activated my account, I found orders attached to my account placed by my brother who had died years before. When I contacted CDW to have my brother's data removed, they told me they could not do that. Before you order, ask yourself if your account data will be secure? |

Made my 2nd purchase today after I had a absolutely great experience with my 1st purchase. Couldn't believe the shipping on the laptop - $12 and I had it withing 24 hours! Very nice account managers give personalized service. Had a call to verify my credit card on the high dollar purchase. Competitive prices and great service! |

My 1st purchase from CDW went through perfectly. I was very satisified. Today I placed a 2nd order and noticed that a picture showed on the screen saying that this was my account manager. What a nice change from the normal online companies. So I placed an order twice as large as the first & it went through the system just fine. Within 5 minutes I get a call from the rep (the lady from the picture) saying she wanted to thank me for the order and let me know it would ship today. FANTASTIC SERVICE! |

After ordering a laptop online through their site, I got a call telling me that the laptop i purchased was not availble, but they would be more than happy to try to sell me a laptop at double the price. Beware of false advertisement on their site. They do not honor their prices and tell you the item is "backordered and that means most likely discontinued" |

These people lie on their shipping charges. On pricegrabber they give a much lower price for shipping, but when you are about to check out, the shipping doubles! For example one item I wanted was supposed to have $9.50 shipping, but when I tried to check it out, the cheapst method (ground) was over $25. I also had a bad experience before. They double charged the shipping costs to my credit card. Well now they lost my business permanently, especially after reading all these bad reviews. |

The price advertised was for a case of 10 reams Xerox paper but was delivered as 1 ream of paper. I requested an RMA which was processed immediately. I got a full refund and got to keep the paper. I was satisfied with the service. |

There isn't enough room to describe the horrible experiences I've had with these clowns. Latest fiasco they sell me a DOA router. No problem, drive back to the showroom 30 miles one way to exchange. Can't exchange, have to get an RMA, takes 24 hours. They refused to give RMA or exchange router that day. Next day get RMA, confirm that another router is in stock. Drive down AGAIN, router is out of stock. And buyer beware their return policies NO REFUNDS on many items manufacturer warranty only. |

Ordered monitor, online on 21 June (Sat.) On following monday, I was requested to fax a copy of my DL and CC ! (??) Said no. They finally decided that wasn't necessary. On the following Saturday I'm informed the monitor is on backorder, and they are "trying to find one". No expected date, no estimated delay, nothing, nada, zip. Monday, the 30th, I email a request they cancel the order. Monday, the 30th, they say they can't cancel, it's been shipped. It will be refused when it arrives. |

Too bad I can't give zero stars. Shipping policy is too restrictive, prices are higher than competitors, customer service does not follow up on promises. I am totally dissatisfied and will not do business with CDW again. |

Faster THAN A SPEEDING BULLET!!!! I don't know how anybody can be so fast. I placed an order on Thursday 7:50 PM. I received the order before noon the next day. I live over a thousand miles away. How's that for outstanding service? The overnight carrier was Airborne and the cost of shipping was only $11.99. |

Ordered a Viewsonic P95f+b 19in CRT on 6/11/03. Shipping was $30. I called customer service and asked if they would give me free shipping and they said they would cut the shipping in half. The monitor arrived in good condition on 6/16. |

My first and maybe my last purchase from cdw.com. Price was very good. The order process time was better than average. However, there was a mix up (did not delay delivery) in the billing info. Asked to have it corrected but still waiting for it to be done. Also, the least expensive shipping method was Airborne. Airborne stinks ! |

Read negative comments on this site. Checked BBB they are a member in good standing. Tried other places who say have this digital camera in stock only to find out later they did not. Many advertised 'IN STOCK' with a shipping date of one to two weeks. Funny! CDW advertised 'IN STOCK' ship same day. Placed the order in AM, got e-mail in PM product was shipped. Package arrived in 2 days as promised. Did not speak to anyone, no upselling, no credit card problems. Delighted, will use them next time. |
