The CDW website lists the item a "Available" and "Same Day Shipping" but I keep getting the backordered story. Called CDW several times, they finally took it back. Then I received the item for a second time and it was again Canon Video Light VL-5. Yet another round of calls and e-mails and they ewentually took it back, and were supposed to ship the right part. On 12/10/2008 that is one month after the order has been placed I got an e-mail sayting that they issued a credit without shipping the right part despite the fact the part I have ordered is still orderable through their web-site. The representative says it is a misprint and the part I would like to get is twice more expensive and if I want to get that want I have to order that different part. So, although it looks like I will get my money back - they misadvertised the product and have not corrected the problem for a month despite my numerous calls and e-mails. I am ordering from competition for $20 more, not worth the hassle	Overall Rating

These 3 items were quoted by a CDW senior account rep. When it was time to replace the old stock toner with hi yield we realized it was the inncorrect toner. CDW refused to replace the $338.00 in toner with the correct ones because it was passed 60 days. However, they did apologize several times while talking in circles and blaming OKI DATA for publishing the mistake on their site. Aside from sales reps hounding me over the years, CDW.com is a good resource for researching some products. For purchasing, I much prefer provantage.com.	Overall Rating

I was skeptical to order at first because it was such a good price, but decided to take a chance. The electronic/computer dealers in my city offer this monitor, but was out of stock. Not only did the monitor arrive on time, it was eveything I expected. CDW not only provides delivery as expected, but good prices as well. I highly recommend CDW.	Overall Rating

I almost wanted to not buy from them, reading all bad reviews and in spite of it, their price was the best so I took a risk. After 25 hours from my order the UPS man ring the bell .I was stunned. I couldn't wait to come online register, give my email address (I never do it) only to say that this was the best service I ever had. The shipping was for ground 2-5 days and was took only 25 hours. I have received my products from Vendor A and Vendor B but not from CDW. I just checked the status of my CDW order and it lists backordered. No notification at all, just happen to check and notice 7 days after placing my order that it is on backorder. Well after ordeing rush service, the day after I ordered the software I had 4 calls from them on the order. They needed proof I was in school for the academic software. Then they need fax of my schedule. Then they could not ship it to a work address. Then they could not find my credit card info that I had given to the 800 number. I was charged for a 2nd item that was backordered, however, and I felt that their communication on the backorder situation and the expected shipping date was poor ("We hope to get a few units and will send yours promptly."). Called MFG to find product would not do what I needed it to. Change from letter to legal. CDW says they won't return the product because the troubleshooting took us out of the 30 day window and the MFG won't return. $1,000 mistake to buy from CDW. Problems after 30 days -- you own them. They shipped the board one week later but it never arrived and went back to CDW. After a few weeks, I called and found out what happened. They created a replacement order that never shipped. Had to describe what a UPS was to my former sales rep for almost 1/2 hr. Often it takes a phone call and sometimes several to get thier best price. Many products I want are listed on thier website with "Please Call" instead of $$. Don't have time for that. I have purchased from CDW well over 15 years now. I have never had a problem with anyone at CDW. They have always been responsive and helpful everytime. The people that have a problem with CDW don't know what they want and expect something for nothing. CDW could never get a 1 star rating. If you buy something, don't throw away the box. CDW is great for corporate customers who get special pricing from CDW and only want to deal with one vendor. Even though I have access to corporate pricing, I still find CDW's price to be uncompetitive with other reputable sellers and now will only buy from CDW if I need the part right away (I'm close enough to CDW that I can send an employee to pick up the item).
