BAD SERVICE: Mother-In-Law never received bouquet, card ordered LAST TUESDAY! From now on, my business goes to proflowers! The details: TUESDAY, 5/3/11 - Ordered flowers for delivery on Thursday - had to deal with a non-English speaker in Central America, who kept transposing numbers of the address. THURSDAY, 5/5/11 - Received FIVE (5) phone calls from agents saying they could not find address. Talked to the first two in person, corrected transposed numbers in zip code, thought problem was resolved. Two more questioning calls came in later in afternoon, once I had left for the day. The fifth call was telling me bouquet could not be delivered that day at all because of the ‘bad address.’ FRIDAY, 5/6/11 - Called and talked to a US agent. She said she would personally shepherd the order through & call me back in the afternoon to confirm. She did so. Flowers still not delivered. Gone most of Saturday & Sunday. This is the SECOND time I have tried to place an order for the same friend and this company has messed it up. I first ordered and paid for same day delivery to which an agent called me to tell me that the local florist couldn't do it. Asked me for an alternative, I gave him one alternative he refused to even ask any of the florist if they could do it, told me which one he would be willing to call about and then never did. Called back that evening to find that he had sat on it too long and never placed the order. I filed a complaint, company "fixed" it by sending a $20 coupon which wasn't anywhere near what I had originally paid for the order. I waited a few weeks and placed a different order for the same friend, same residence. This time I did regular mail and the delivery day came with no delivery. I called and even though a tracking number was arranged, the item was never shipped. I was told they would re-order and recharge me for the new order. I ended up just canceling. |

Placed an order for a large flower vase. On the delivery date received an email saying that the order might be rescheduled due to bad weather. Checked the order status online the next day it said pending. I was certain that it will get delivered the next available date, which was bad enough, but there was nothing else I could do. I was busy next week, and when I checked back online TWO weeks later the order status was still Pending. I was extremely upset. I called 1800Flowers and they said that they are trying to contact me on my phone to check on the next available delivery date. No one called me on my phone or left a message, so that is BS. Therefore 1800Flowers suck. Thank you very much. |

This is the place if you want to disappointed your love. I order my rose 2 weeks ago for my valentine day. They cancel it just the day before the valentine day. I was wanted to give a little surprise to my gf, and now end up with messy and rush. 1800flowers, you just screw another customer away. Good Job. |

Buyer beware!! Used to be a great company. Will never use them again. Horrible customer service. Impossible to get through on phones. 40 minute plus wait times. Delivery ordered a week in advance for the day before mother's day and the flowere were never delivered. Emails confirming delivery with flowers still at florist. No response form customer service emails. Horrible treatment of loyal customer. So sad because they used to be a good company. |

Ordered a dozen YELLOW roses for my wife for Valentine's Day. She received a dozen ASSORTED roses--I guess they found it handy to send out what was left over. No notification of the substitution--before or after. About half of the roses received were well beyond fresh and had to be disposed of the next morning. I contacted 1-800-Flowers. They apologized and offered me a 20% off coupon on my next order--even though they had not fulfilled my order for YELLOW roses. Needless to say, I won't be ordering any flowers from these folks any more--unless, of course, I want to order "ANY FLOWERS that you choose to send". Why pick out what you want from a merchant that sends what is convenient (and cheap) for themselves? |

I am deeply disappointed in the service. The flowers I ordered a month in advance for my wife's anniversary were never delivered. No explanation has been offered. No credit has ben issued, but that is not the point. The point is my anniversary was ruined. |

Ordered for delivery on Mothers Day. The order was not received. This is the second time ordering from 1-800 flowers and the second disappointment. Will not order from this merchant again. Will warn family & friends against this company. |

I am very upset. I ordered flowers for my mother for this mothers day...they were supposed to have been delivered yesterday. They were delivered to the wrong address. It cost approx. $20 to have them delivered by UPS...Who just simply left them on the doorstep of the wrong house - No One signed for them - the delivery verifications states they were left on the doorstep. I called customer service of 1-800 Flowers.com and they will not send out another flower arrangement. They will give me a 20% discount - Wow - Geez - After spending $58.00 and they were not even delivered to the right address they will give me a whole 20% discount. This is totally ridiculous. I spoke to a supervisor who was very matter of fact about the whole issue...I will never ever order from 1-800 Flowers again - I will only go through a local florist.... BUYER BEWARE!!! I am letting everyone that I know of the poor customer service that I have rec'd |

I will NEVER place another order with 1-800-Flowers.com, and I will NEVER recommend it to ANYONE. BUYER BEWARE! I received ONLY PART of my order. I tried to call to inquire about the order and I have tried to e-mail the company. I have gotten nothing but canned responses telling me that 1-800-Flowers.com is TOO BUSY to talk with me, and they give me no other alternative. This is a horrible response for ANY business. I am finished with this company, and I will be extremely cautious with ALL other online vendors. |

I ordered flowers for my wife a week prior to Valentine's Day for guaranteed delivery on the 14th. They did not deliver the flowers and customer service refuses to call me back. Now that I have researched the company and their practices, I have discovered that not filling orders is a common practice. They ruined my Valentine's Day, so do not order from them! |

I could not disagree with the last post more. In the last month, I sent three flower orders, one of them very complex, to Canada, California, and Washington. All three arrived precisely at the time I asked, and my recipients were thrilled at the quality. Sure, the price is tad higher, but spending a few minutes on a Web site is much easier than taking a lot of time researching local florists in different places, and taking a chance on their quality. This company seems to choose only the best. |

This is the second time they have not delivered an order for me. My mistake, I should have known better! My Mother's Day gift which was promised to be delivered on Saturday May 8th was never delivered. I just found this out on Wednesday the 12th. I was never contacted and even sent a tracking number, so I thought I was ok. They told me they were busy over Mother's Day that is why my order didn't ship. A flower company being busy on Mother's day: shocker! Go with the local flower shop! |
