Bottom Freezer, White Pearl, Energy Star Qualified - MPN: RF266ABWP
Strengths: Layout, size, shelving capacity, deli drawer, freezer space, open door reminder, temperature displays for fridge AND freezer, easy temperature adjustments
Weakness: Water dispenser dribbles just a tiny bit after release. Depth from wall will be a problem in a smaller kitchen or one with an island already present nearby.
We replaced a 13 yr. old fridge that had ice and water in the door (freezer on top) with this unit. We LOVE it. We do not miss the ice in the door at all, and the freezer space is MUCH better. My teenagers and husband are all tall, and the fridge items are easier to see, now that the freezer is below. The water dispenser inside means you do not lose valuable shelf space inside the door. The deli drawer is much larger than we had, and we like that for cheeses and meats. The freezer is HUGE compared to the old one that lost so much space to the ice maker. Freezer has a special spot for frozen pizza box. The little bit of dribble at the water dispenser is no big deal. Just keep the cup there a second or two after you release the pressure on the dispense pad. Very happy with this purchase.

TopThanks for the informative review. This model was our top refrigerator choice and your review just help to confirm that. This Samsung has so many great features that at this price it's pretty much a no-brainer.
Thanks again,
Don

Pretty good overall
Strengths: like the layout
Weakness: water disp. sticks, ice maker loud when the ice falls
I had the repair man out to fix the water issue twice with no success. The original issue was a leak after use. After that it started sticking. Did not care to have the repair guy back and figured I could live without using the water. Everything was fine till my 9 year old tried to use it and it stuck open. By the time I pulled the fridge out to turn off the water it stopped running but still had a respectable puddle to clean up. The ice maker is loud enough (when the ice falls) that it will wake you if your room is next to the kitchen. It seems like it runs quite (fairly quiet) a bit this makes me question the energy savings. For the money I would go with the comparable whirl pool if I had it to do again. This is the most I ever spent for something like this and my expectations are pretty high
