Known Issue with the Logic Board, Not comfirmed

Strengths: I bought my first unit April 19 2011, May 04 I booted it up one morning and received an E07 error bad logic board or logic board failure.

Weakness: Logic board failures

I bought this unit Shipped on April 17, 2011 from Amazon for $819.34. I had it about 2 weeks then booted it up one morning to an E07 error message, which translates to a Logic Board Failure. I RMA'd the unit and all was good. Now on August 01, 2011 I went to boot up the unit one morning and again got the E07 error message Logic Board Failure. In speaking with tech support I suggested there may be a known issue with these units that Buffalo is not yet aware of. I also spoke to Nancy in Customer Relations about an upgrade to a Tera Station Pro Quad 6TB as a good of service gesture for this being the 2nd failure of the Link Station. She has been good about promoting this to Customer relations in my favor. Right now Buffalo is down for monthly inventory but when the come back up she said she will have an answer for me. I am not trying to be greedy here but if there is an issue here that Buffalo is not yet aware of this is going to be a big problem very quickly. I will keep you posted as to the progress of the RMA
