2x Digital Zoom - 2 GB Flash Memory - MPN: F360B
Strengths: pocket sized, sleek styling, quality video, simplicity
Weakness: sensitive touch button controls
Way to go Flip Mino! This is what I have been waiting for. Finally a video camera that is small, sleek, and stylish enough to fit in my purse. The simplicity of this gadget is amazing. Now I can capture all of those Kodak moments in action with the touch of a button. The built in software makes this even easier to download to your websites in a flash.

Great little video recorder
Strengths: Size, price, functionality, ease of use
Weakness: No stability control
My husband and I were looking to purchase a video recording device that was inexpensive and easy to use. We feel a camcorder is unnecessary for our needs (and bulky). I first saw the Mino on TV; the USB functionality and ease of use impressed me.
We looked at both the Mino and the Ultra. We didn’t want to go through the hassle of buying batteries, and read somewhere that the Ultra runs through ‘juice’ pretty fast. Seeing the Mino’s battery records up to 60 minutes between charges we decided on the Mino.
We are very impressed with this little recorder. It’s pretty small, a little taller and narrower than a classic iPod. Size was a factor, as we didn’t want a bulky machine. We were also impressed with the picture – we ran across several online “video” reviews, which really showcased the Mino’s picture and sound.
Transferring the videos from the Mino to a PC is extremely easy. With the UBS plug-and-go functionality, all you need to do is plug it in. No additional software is necessary – its all on the Mino which installs when plugged in.
The zoom is pretty basic, there is no stability control or other bells and whistles. But for what you pay for the Mino you will get a video recorder that offers great picture, great sound, great portability and great ease of use.
