Small, Compact, simple no-nonsense slave trigger...

Strengths: 1. Small, compact 2. No batteries 3. PC Sync port can connect to a Vivitar PC Sync Port and/or a regular PC sync port 4. Made with Epoxy plastic, rugged

Weakness: 1. Expensive, can get similar no-name brand devices for around $10 2. No documentation comes with the packaging

I bought this slave device to trigger my Vivitar 285HV I bought in March 2007 (the new kind). It was unable to trigger those flashes. I am not sure about the reason, someone said that the trigger voltage in those new flashes is very low for this device, but I was unable to confirm that since there is no documentation/ support available. I already bought a Wein HS Hot Shoe which does the job, I guess I will end up returning these.
