BlanAnt Supertooth Light Speakerphone works as...

Strengths: the sound quality was surprisingly good, very easy to operate

Weakness: You need to use both hands to release the mic and hold the unit at the same time so that the magnet would stay in the position

I've had this product for a couple of weeks. This is a perfect handfree speakerphone, just as advertised. After the battery was fully charged, it has lasted after over three weeks. I don't use it all that often but when I do, it connects to the cell phone within seconds and provides comfortable, clear, hands-free communications both ways. My Nokia E65 can also do the voice dialing, so it is really cool to use this device. Overall I think it is well worth the money spent and I will recommend the blueant supertooth to anyone.

Supertooth Light Bluetooth Handsfree Speaker

Strengths: Good sound quality. Small size. Helpful technical support.

Weakness: Got annoying echo on Samsung A640, but not on LG Fusic. Volume controls are not easy to adjust. On/off microphone switch is sometimes difficult to lock closed.

The Supertooth Light is sleek and has fine quality communication. The Supertooth II has easier to use controls, but is more clunky. The Light did not work well with the Samsung, and tech support suggested a firmware upgrade to the phone may fix the bluetooth. The II worked fine with both the Samsung and LG. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance and price of both BluAnt products.

Works well, sounds clear and does do voice dialing.

Strengths: Voice dials with my Motorola L7 easily. Sounds great, very clear and volume was good. Easy to operate and worked really well.

Weakness: To voice dial sometimes I have to do it twice to get it to work. But mostly only once works. The clip is tight on the visor so it did leave little dent marks where it had been.

I really like it. Very happy I bought this one. Callers said it sounded fine, nice and clear. In the car when moving at hwy speeds it sounded good to. Easy to pair and connect with my Motorola L7 (unbranded, unlocked) and voice dials with my L7 well. Charges using a mini usb charger (same voltage as my phone one) so my phone charger works with it (added bonus there). It comes with chargers of its own to. Only does voice dialing if your phone does.
I found it easy to use and operate. And have no complaints about the sound at all. I like listening to music in the car so I didnt want to wear a headset. And this one can be moved easily from car to car.

nice unit - was able to get rid of in-ear headset -...

Strengths: NOT an in-ear unit, but still can hear and be heard well

Weakness: volume buttons hard to use

I had bought one of these units for myself, and I liked it so much I bought one for my husband. He really really hates an in-ear headset, so this works well for him.

The battery life seems pretty good, and it has surprisingly good sound both for hearing callers and for being heard. The answer and end call buttons are big and easy to use. Sadly, the volume up and down buttons are not, and that's the only complaint we have about this unit. (They are usable, just hard to push...)

Overall, we're happy.

great unit - very happy

Strengths: don't need an in-the-ear headset, people on other end can hear me really well and I can hear them

Weakness: volume buttons are a bit hard to work, sometimes have to fiddle with the visor position a bit so folks can hear me, but then they can hear me really well

I bought this because I REALLY REALLY REALLY didn't want an in-the-ear headset. I was a bit skeptical about whether a speakerphone could work in the noisy car environment, but this one does really well. I can hear callers and they say they can hear me. It was very easy to pair up with my phone.

I also like the "2-sided" visor clip, which lets you easily switch the unit from one side of your visor to the other, depending on whether your visor is up or down.

The only downsides I've found so far are that the volume buttons are a bit hard to work - they are hidden under some rubbery covers and I just can't tell whether I'm pushing them or not, so I just have to push, and then see if it got louder or quieter. Some positive feedback on these would be nice.

And the second one is that the microphone seems to be fairly directional when picking up my voice - sometimes I have to adjust the angle of my visor a bit to get it sounding good on the other end. Normally this is okay, but if I'm also trying to use the visor to block the sun at the same time, it can be a bit annoying.

I wish I could give this a 4.5, but since I have to do either a 4 or a 5, I'm giving it a 5. The couple of minor annoyances are really trivial in comparison to not having to fiddle with an earpiece!

Supertooth Light Bluetooth Handsfree Speaker

Strengths: easy to set up

Weakness: terrible echo and noise

I was extremely disappointed. Everyone that called me or I called them had a terrible echo or loud banging noises on the line. It was impossible to have a conversation so I had to revert to my cell phone.

Great Product for the price

Strengths: Great Product for the price!!! People say they can hear me loud and clear.

Weakness: Some people tell me there is a little echo

I have tried several ear pieces, and they are never comfortable or they don't stay secure and they can easily fall off when I am working.

This hands free bluetooth product has the best bag for the buck that I have used. I am in my truck anywhere from 2-5 hours a day driving 80-160 miles per day. This is a great handsfree tool. I have not yet had to recharge the unit after its initial charge. It was so easy to sync the unit to my phone, the directions could not have been any more precise. Most people say that they can hear me pretty clearly, some have told me that they can tell that I am using a hands free device but that there is no issue with clearity. Although I did not use it, the extra A/C vent mounting clip was a nice extra. I plan on buying a unit for my dad for Father's Day.

Good but Not Great

Strengths: Don\\\'t have to wear on ear, easy to use

Weakness: Microphone picks up more road noise that we expected, and its difficult to charge it when its on the visor

The unit is good but not great. It will do the job, and avoids the ear piece we were trying to get away from (which was a problem with my wife\\\'s long hair). This BlueAnt unit sounds good, but callers on the other end report more road noise than we\\\'d hoped for, making calls a little difficult. It works, keeps our eyes on the road, but the road noise is disappointing.
