Acer Timeline AS3810TZ

Strengths: Thin, very light, great battery life, great screen

Weakness: 64 bit operating system,

I purchased this model Acer to replace the Aspire One netbook I previously owned. Overall it was a good purchase. The unit has a great screen, very thin and light and lots of battery life. I have had some issues with the Vista 64 bit os, but have managed to get around them.Not my first choice for a work pc, I think you would be happier with a Dual core procesor, but for traveling, pictures, email, etc. it's the best thing going.

THE GOOD: Slim, attractive design; excellent battery life; reasonably priced. THE BAD: No optical drive; clunky single mouse button. THE BOTTOM LINE: The 13-inch Aspire Timeline 3810T largely lives up to its lofty battery claims, while keeping the chassis slim and the price down.
