Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Excellent build quality, Very convenient design, Highly protective Laptop compartment, Includes an accessory drawer.

Weakness: A little bulky.

When I recently bought a Compaq Presario M2010US Notebook, it immediately became apparent that I will need to buy a good case to store it in if I wanted to carry it around anywhere. After looking at a lot of options, the SaddleBag was an easy choice because it just stood out from the rest of the "standard" designed ones that were out in the market. Not only does it include sufficient amount of space in the main compartment to carry items like books, it also has many additional storage areas to carry other items (Laptop accessories or other stuff).

A very efficient carrying case

Strengths: Different carrying option Strong and easy to use compartment for storing adapters and stuff

Weakness: Non-adjustable front clip on

I have been using this for three months now and i should say it is very handy. I can carry my laptop and all other work stuff in this and it is pretty comfortable to carry around with its different options. The only complaint i have is that the front clip on is non-adjustable. So when you carry it like a briefcase (the handle is on the top flap) the weight is not balanced and is a little uncomfortable. Apart from that will recommend to anyone...particularly at this price.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Great construction. Lots of space for computer, battery, etc.

Weakness: None.

One of the best computer cases I have ever used. It can be carried over shoulder or as a backpack. Very stylish and reasonably lightweight. Can easily fit laptops with 15” screen. I strongly recommend it.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Comfort, flexibility, its drawer and easy to carry

Weakness: chunky, a little heavy

I especially like its drawer and since it has four ways to carry, it fits all the situation you will have. Overall, I like the product. It fits my Compaq computer well. The only weakness is a little chunky. If you have a small laptop, it will not be your choice.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Solid built, good quality, roomy

Weakness: The Junk-It drawer is not very smooth when dragging in and out.

This bag is definately better than what I thought, especially considering what I paid for it -- ~$15 after rebate. It is much superior to all Targus and Samsonite bags at the same price level. And plus the jusnk-it drawer is very useful.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Lighter than I expected, Versatile, Lots of Space, Backpack Straps hide away when not in use. Zipper on side allows the bag to expand if more space is needed. Great deals going on with $25 rebate offer

Weakness: None so Far

I wanted to post a review for this bag because I researched it before I bought and no one knew if a 15.4" laptop would fit. I have a dell inspiron 6000 15.4 widescreen and it fits snugly in the compartment. The bag is very roomy and looks great. The Junk it drawer comes in very handy to put the power cords and other accessories.

This bag is worth the money.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Design and reliability

Weakness: a little bit expensive

I bought this bag from intensive web research and reviews, and I think that it's gonna be one of practical and durable computer case with a modern design. But the price is a little bit high, compared other candidates. Anyway, recommended.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Roomy; 3-way customized carrying; Junk-it drawer; solid quality; good protection; life-time warranty.

Weakness: Heavy; expensive; No zip on the top.

I bought this case for my Dell 600m.

Its quite roomy. The flexible interior offers plenty of room for all the accessories. The laptop is protected by its special snugfit compartment. The form-fitting and the elastic bands will accommodate various-sized laptops. My 14' 600m fits and I think a 15' laptop will fit it snugly as well. I like the junk-it drawer design. Now I can organize the cables, cords, and other accessories for easy access. There's three ways to carrying this case, a shoulder strap, an easy-grip handle, and backpack straps. It's always nice to have options when you want to customize to your own comfort.

It's expensive. But since I bought it with a Dell concession coupon, no complain about that. :) It's heavy itself but acceptable. Considering all its features, it's actually lighter than I expected. It has no zip-close on top of the case. It would be more secure to have one under the top cover.

A very nice carrying case. Highly recommended

So So.

Strengths: Lots of room. Not too heavy.

Weakness: Not enough padding. Not enough water proof protection.

There were lots of rooms. However, The bottom drawer was some what hard to open.

There was nearly no padding in the bottom of this bag. Only sides and bottom corner of the bag is padded.

There is no water proof coating on top and bottom of the bag. Only side walls have such coating.
It would not protect contents in the bag on a rainy day.

I have Saddlebag Ultra from Kensington and it had better water protection.
Entire bottom is made with vynil fabric which keeps water of the the bag in case it was dropped on a wet place and it also had some padding in the bottom. (although it was not that impresive.)
Compare to that, Saddlebag Pro has no protection in the bottom at all.

Best Bag i've ever had

Strengths: Very Good Quality, Sturdy construction

Weakness: Bag alone is quite heavy.

Just purchased this product from Buy.com and am very pleased I did. When i opened up the packed i found this bag is very well constructed. I've had it for just over 5 days but would guess that it will hold up very well over time. The sleeve for the Notebook stretches to fit and has a no scratch liner if you don't have a sleeve. What I've found most convenient is the backpack straps that fold into the back. These are great when your shoulders get tired and want to share the burden. Would love to get another for a present for my cousin. Great buy and highly recommend.

Stylist and functional

Strengths: Versatile, well-built.

Weakness: Padding on straps can be improved.

This is a truly versatile laptop carrying case, with lots of room for accessories and books.

The "junk-it" drawer works great for little things here and there, perfect for the mouse and power adapter.

I like the way it converts to a backpack, but would appreciate more padding on the straps, the straps are a bit stiff in my opinion.

Kensington SaddleBag Pro Notebook Carrying Case

Strengths: roominess, rugged

Weakness: none major

I was pleasently suprised at the construction of this product. All features were as advertised -- although the "Junk-it Drawer" is somewhat flimsy and often jams while opening. The many compartments provide convenient separation of items. The integrated "drop shield" protection has already proven its worth when a I carelessly knocked the case of a high shelf with no damage to the case or the contents.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: very utilitarian, 3 ways to carry, lots of space, great price after rebate

Weakness: not the prettiest looking bag

I got this for a great price after mail in rebates. I only saw the picture online, but I decided to take a risk given the low price. When I received it, my first impression is that it's definitely not a pretty bag. However, on further scrutiny, I did realize that it was very utilitarian. Lots of compartments, and 1 padded portion for your lapton. There's even a drawer-like compartment at the bottom, which nicely fits the powerbrick of the laptop. It also has 3 methods of being carried -- shoulder strap, backpack, and handle -- making it easy to lug around via your method of choice. It's a keeper, but realize that in this instance, form does not necessarily follow function.

Kensington Saddlebag a good buy

Strengths: Strong Stitching, good design, lots of space and I like all of the hidden pockets to put things in

Weakness: A little heavy because the bottom of the bag has a slide open plastic case, but that said, it's pretty useful for things you don't want to get broken

I really like this bag, though I must admit, it's a little bulky for a laptop bag. It's about 1.5" by 1.5" but it stores a lot and it'll fit a 15" laptop. Plus it's got spaces everywhere to put a mouse or the charger. The straps also go from a side saddlebag to a backpack which is pretty useful. It is a bit heavy but no more heavy than those leather Targus bags, which I also like a lot. I'd recommend this wholeheartedly.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Lots of compartments, sturdy design, can be used as backpack or side bag.

Weakness: a bit heavy, and bulky

Very nice bag overall. I wish the backpack straps were removable to lighten this a bit. However I cant complain since this bag is priced so low. The only other bag I considered was the Samsonite but that was almost twice as much as Kensington.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Reliable and nice build material, more compartments, junk-in it drawer, multiple ways to carry bag

Weakness: Little haevy

This bag is great for those who looks for value for money. It has lots of compartments
and more roomy. It can fit majority of laptops. I liked the way it offer multiple ways to carry
a bag and you can hide backpack straps. Bag is little heavy but compare to the stuff I carry in
bag it is nothing. It is highly recommended.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Comfortable, can put lots of stuff into it, durable

Weakness: it's kinda bulky

This is a very well-made bag. It can fit my 15.4" laptop easily with lots of extra room. But all over all, it's a good bag for the price (after rebate)

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: versatile carry methods, durable material, expandable storage, lightweight construction

Weakness: smaller computer storage sleeve, backpack straps not removable, design too contemporary

I would rate this product 3.5 stars. I own 2 Kensington briefcases (the other is the Contour Roller). They are both well crafted, solidly built, durable products. This product has a couple nice features, including the Junk-It drawer, which provides good storage for power transformers, mouse and other stuff which is either heavy (provides lower center of gravity) or a place to throw a bunch of miscellaneous cra... stuff. The expandable main storage compartment is good sized, without being so big that you overload it to the point where you can't carry it. The carry handle is nicely padded, as is the shoulder carry strap and the backpack straps hide away nicely, and the case is lightweight

However, I think this product would be more suited to a student. The backpack straps cannot be removed, and the contour of the top flap gives it a contemporary look which does not lend itself to a business environment (more reminiscent of a courier bag). The Kensington website says the computer sleeve fits most 15.4" notebooks; MOST is a good loophole. My HP 15.4" is a very tight fit, and it sticks up too high. Also, the main compartment is not conducive to keeping manila folders with loose paper, as it can slide around.

Overall, a good product, but not my first choice for use in business environment.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Build Quality

Weakness: A little bit heavy, not stylish

This bag is very well built. The compartment fits most 15 inch laptops. You can also put some books and papers as well. The only things that make it not perfect is the weight which is a little big heavy and the look which is a very classic style. However, I consider it a best buy for the price range 15-20.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Comfortable and fit with my Inspiron 9300. It is nice to have a drawer and there are four ways to carry it.

Weakness: a little heavy.

Overall, I like the bag. Especially, it is nice to have a drawer and there are four ways to carry it. I like its contemporary style. I feel comfortable, when I carry it. The only weekness is a little bit heavy. But I like it overall and it will last long time.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: It is very light and have Lifetime Warranty. In addition, It does not look like a laptop bag so your computer and valuables are safer.

Weakness: I do not know till no.

My girlfriend just bought a laptop and need a notebook case. I investigated lots of cases, of course expensive or not is the first thing for me. This one is not only good but also cheap! In addition, it is compatible with 14 inch and 15 inch laptop and meets most major airlines carry-on guidelines, especially good for business man. More important is it innovative Junk-It(TM) drawer, a completely separate compartment. Use it to store your power cords and they will not get tangled in everything else. Use it for pens, mouse, calculator...whatever, they are right at your fingertips. It is a good idea to buy it. Do not hesitate!

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: good quality, roomy

Weakness: A little bit heavy

I bought this bag for my Dell 600m. The Junk-It Drawer design is good. It's big enough to carry Dell INSPIRON 6000, and I had recommended my friend to buy this bag. The price after rebate is good.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: sturdy, space, function

Weakness: none

This bag is far beyond my expectation out of the box. The material making this bag is sturdy and solid. Although it is not as light as some people said, it is ok if you use it to carry a 15"4 laptop. The compartment for laptop if flexible, so it can fit larger screen laptops without any problem. Furthermore, the bag is expandable with the zip on its side. Great idea for the Junkit drawer. everything small can put there. Lots of pockets to put all your stuff. The style of the bag is good, comparing to those boring backpack and handbags. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a computer bag for their big screen laptops.

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Very comfortable to wear and it can hold a LOT of stuff.

Weakness: It's a little bigger than I thought, but that's why it can hold so much.

I would highly recommend this product because it looks cool and is very useful to carry around a laptop and all its associated junk, folders and paperwork. The Junk-it drawer is useful to put stuff such as batteries, so they wont scratch up your valuables elsewhere. I have only used this for a couple of days, but I know I will grow to like it even more!

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Durable Materials! LOTS Of Storage! Versatile Carrying Options! Junk It Drawer Is Good Size & Is SWEET! Notebook Area Has A Nice Padded Storage Area With Easy Access Velcrow Strap Down!

Weakness: Only Thing I Could Think Of Would Be That The Backpack Straps AREN'T Removable. They're Neatly Hidden, It Just Would Be Nice To COMPLETELY Remove Them If You Don't Plan On Ever Using Them.

I Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND This Product! Not Only For The Quality, But Also For The Price. You Can't Beat It!
If I Had Use For Another One, I Would Buy This Product Again Without A Doubt!

Kensington SaddleBag 66210 Carrying Case

Strengths: Solid design, easy to carry (there are three ways to carry this bag), HUGE space to put laptop and other stuff.

Weakness: The bag itself is a bit heavy -.-

The best thing of the bag is it doesn’t have a label “Steal me!”, which is on most of laptop bags:) The design is solid but not too fancy. Highly recommend!
