A decent calculator
Strengths: big buttons, clear display
Weakness: little expensive
We bought this texas instruments calculator from Office depot for daily use on the counter. It comes with big and comfortable buttons. And the 10 digits display is very big and clear. As a solar powered calculator, it is very sensitive to light.Since we just bought for a few weeks,we don't know whether it is durable. Let's see how long it is going to last. Except its price, I'd like to recommend this one as a good basic calculator.

Strengths: Simple to use, responsive keys, dual power
Weakness: Need a precision screwdriver to change battery, expensive, hard to find
This is a nice calculator that I've used at a previous place of employment in the past and specifically asked for this model at work. It's apparently discontinued because no store I checked carries it. Fortunately I found places on PG to sell it. My favorite feature of this calculator is that the keys are very responsive and comfortable. I don't feel like I have to "mash in" the keys to get a number to register nor do I have issues with the numbers double-registering. It's great for trying to type fast which I do. I hope TI brings it back because I think their newer models are ugly.

Strengths: Design
Weakness: Sharpness
I ordered this calculator simply because of the brand name and it looks great. The number keys placements are designed perfectly and the pressure point when you press the keys are smooth. The only two flaws with this calculator that I see are that there is no backspace key and that the digital numbers are somewhat blurry in a dim room even though this calculator can be powered by both solar and also batteries. Overall, this is a great calculator for basic calculations.

cool calculator
Strengths: big button, easy to press, solar power
Weakness: single display
i use this calculator at my desk and when i look at it these are the words that come to by head: super durable, gets the job due, non-sticky keys, easy to clean, semi-water proof, and large buttons. Obviously not as powerful as a TI-83 but for the kinda basic computing I do from a day-to-day basis this thing is perfect! highly recommended.
