A good bluetooth headset for the price

Strengths: Looks good. Clear to listen to, and people on the other line can hear you well.

Weakness: Could fit in ear better.

I purchased this headset from Verizon to use with my LG enV phone. The call quality through the earpiece was great. I could hear the other party better than if I was using my phone, and the other parties do not even notice you are using a headset. The microphone on this unit is that good. The device flashes a small blue light while it is on, and the headset looks very fashionable as well. It comes with 3 ear-pieces for different size ears. None of them fit perfectly in my ear, but it was not terrible.

Overall if you are looking for a good bluetooth headset at a decent price I would strongly recommend this unit.

Excellent headset. The best I have used bar none and the least expensive as well. It's almost like someone at Samsung made a mistake and set the price too low. It's that good.

Samsung WEP 410

Strengths: Clear concise conversations...The earpiece interchangeability is awesome. You can actually walk feet away without realizing the phone is in another location!

After spending hundreds searching, I have finally found a compatible earpiece for SMALL EARS! The piece is easy to maneuver and navigate. I ended up purchasing another for my best friend.

Very good headset

Strengths: Very clear sound on both ends. Stays in ear better than other in-ear headsets

Weakness: none so far

I had WEP200 before but had issues with static and echoes. With WEP410, there are no static sounds nor echoes on either end. The sound is very clear and loud. It stays in the ear very well..

Good quality for the price

Strengths: Clear reception on both ends, light weight.

Weakness: Multifunction button may be too small for some that finger may completely block the indicating light.

-Good receptions on both ends. Even though without noise canceling effect, works well indoor and outdoor. Not as well in windy condition.
-Multifunction button may be too small for some that finger may completely block the indicating light.
-Light weight, stylish and relatively small.
-3 sizes of ear piece. To find the best fit, try with both ears (you may find surprisingly that the ears are not symmetrical)
-Carrying/charging case is handy for storage.
-Reception is good within 10 ft. Static may occur if beyond.
-Pair with Samsung Gleam instantly. Have trouble to pair with Motorola RAZR v3m.
-Overall good quality for the price.

Time spent researching paid off...

Strengths: Voice clarity, size, comfort and price

Weakness: The multifunction button is easily pushed resulting in a redial of the last person called.

The voice clarity is excellent for both the caller and the person at the other end. This is my first Bluetooth headset and I spent a lot of time researching before purchasing this one. Apparently, there are many models by several manufacturers that don't rate well and I didn't want to get stuck with a sub par device so I took my time and I'm glad I did. This thing is all I could have hoped for at a price much lower than a lot of the competition. Other than my complaint that I mentioned in the Weakness category above I think this is an excellent product. I also recommended it to a friend of mine who purchased one for himself and one for his wife and they are both extremely satisfied. As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with the Samsung WEP410.

Awesome little device!

Strengths: Good call quality, super small form factor, very stylish, light weight, voice dialing supported

Weakness: No ear hook (so easier to fall off), no noise cancellation, subpar reception, small buttons

Don't be fooled by the size of this headset; this dinky little thing performs exceptionally well for its size. It has above average call quality (not the best since it does not have noise cancellation) and is very sleek and stylish. It's 4 times smaller than my Jabra BT800 which I hardly use anymore ever since picking up the WEP410. My BT800 has noise cancellation and honestly, the differences between call quality between the two are minuscule.

The buttons on the WEP410 are quite small and it doesn't have a ear hook as many other headsets do, but those aren't big issues. The buttons aren't a problem because if you set it once during a call and find the "sweetspot," it'll end up being your "default" setting and you won't have to fool around with the volume controls anymore. The package also includes different size ear buds to fit in any size ear (medium sized one feels very secure for me).

Battery life on this thing is quite impressive for it being so small. The ratings are pretty accurate as I got ~2-3 days with it on standby and ~3+ hours talk time.

Anyway this is a great buy and you won't be disappointed. It's by far the smallest headset I've ever seen (I've had 4 before this) and it performs just as well as my other ones did. Oh, and it's made in Korea, not China! :)

Sleek, stylish and sexy!

Strengths: Small size, very light, minimal buttons, simplistic yet stylish design, call quality is on par with the phone itself. Carry case doubles as charging dock.

Weakness: No optional ear hook, earbud is a bit uncomfortable, no replacement earbuds in different sizes, doesn't play mp3 ringtones when phone rings.

I just got my headset yesterday, I love everything about it but the earbud. It doesn't fit well in my left ear, fits fine in my right. Being left handed, I'd much rather prefer to wear it on my left ear. The earbud isn't very soft, feels borderline too big, so i'm hoping some Jabra ear gels can help solve that issue for me. I love the simple elegance of the design, the small form factor is a plus as well, and so far nobody has been able to discern whether or not i'm on the headset or talking directly into the phone itself. The piece gets plenty loud and I can hear and be heard just fine. Worth the $35 I paid for it off PriceGrabber.com

WEP410 Wireless Cell Phone Headset

Strengths: Small, light

Weakness: Not very clear when used in rooms

Pros:The design of WEP410 really amazes me. It has length of only half of your finger, and the weight is very light. It has three cushion of different sizes so that you will always find one makes you comfortable when wearing it. I extremely recommend it for long conversation phone-calls.Cons:It is not as good as wired ear phones when making calls at home or an quiet enviroment(I am using it with SAMSUNG A900), and it drops severals times during calls (I have been using it for four months)

samsung410 earpeice

Strengths: none.

Weakness: charger cord didnt plug in securely. i don't think it ever charged up. my phone wouldn't connect to it. i never got to use it.

this has got to be the biggest peice of junk i have bought latley. i should have just went right to the motorola site. i have a brand new razr V3i and it would not connect to it. the red light would go out during the charge up. the plug didnt fit into the hole right. i could jiggle it and watch the red light go on and off. totally not happy with it. buy better bluetooth from your phone company, not a second hand company.

samsung

Strengths: none

Weakness: turns off by itself constantly

this does not work very well. It turns off by itself constantly, and it arrived missing the over the ear piece. I will probably have to go out and buy a different divice..I'd love to return this one if possible.

Really needs noise cancellation

Strengths: Really tiny Very comfortable to wear, very easy to place in your ear, ear-hook not needed Very secure; you can jump up and down with this thing on and it won't budge.

Weakness: Lack of noise-cancellation!!

Pros:
Really tiny
Very comfortable to wear, very easy to place in your ear, ear-hook not needed
Very secure; you can jump up and down with this thing on and it won't budge.
Great sound for the user. There is occasional static but it is not a big deal.
Very good at picking up your voice.

Cons:
Lack of noise-cancellation!! This is my first bluetooth headset so maybe this criticism applies to all headsets without noise-cancellation. The microphone is far away from your mouth and it is great at picking up everything but man, do I mean everything! I tried to use this in my own living room a couple of times and two different people instantly complained that they were hearing an echo. My living room is mainly hard surfaces but it certainly isn't like talking in the bathroom. People only reported a trace echo when I talked in my bedroom. On the street this headset picks up all sorts of background noise so the sound quality for people I'm talking to is much poorer than when I directly use my cell phone. If you only make calls from quiet, non-echogenic environs then you should be OK. All I know is that my next bluetooth headset will have noise-cancellation.

A quick tap of the main control button will redial the number of your last cell phone call. This means that you can't drop this in your pocket without first turning it off because you will almost certainly accidentally hit the button and start calling people without your knowledge. There is no way to deactivate this feature.

First bluetooth headset

Strengths: Small compared to others I've seen Stylish Sound quality

Weakness: No ear hook

While the ear hook may look unattractive, it's pretty useful. I may not know because this is my first headset, but whenever I shake my head vigorously (I don't know why I would ever do that in public though) it becomes loose and falls out. This may happen to headset's with ear hooks but maybe not. Voice comes out just as clear as from my phone (LG Env). Besides it not having a ear hook, which makes it 10 times more stylish, I would highly recommend this product.

Samsung WEP410

Strengths: Good sound, small unit.

Weakness: Charging system is limited.

This is a very good bluetooth headset. The sound is good, it is very light and fits comfortably in the ear. It is easy to use. It charges in the carrying case, but only with AC power, which is a nuisance. While it does fit comfortably in the ear, there is no clip and I am always checking to see that it has not slipped.

Samsung WEP410 - a good buy

Strengths: small, discreet, very sleek design, great case that doubles as a charger

Weakness: noise cancellation is satisfactory only

I would recommend this for anyone who wants a cost effective blue tooth that still does the job and looks good. You must note however that this unit does go inside your ear, but has S,M, and L sized cups to fit a range of sizes.

A Great Buy for a Great Product!

Strengths: The WEP410 was a breeze to link to my cell. I could hear and was heard very well while using it and it holds power as advertised. Its tiny profile renders is barely noticeable while attached.

Weakness: I have had it drop out of my ear on occasion, however the ear piece covers that are supplied with it may remedy that. Also, I have accidently made calls while simply applying the headset.

I have really enjoyed having the convenience of this little head set. It is a relief to know that on long calls I do not have the phone itself, right up against my ear. Also, I can safely and quickly answer and successfully complete calls while attending to other activities. The WEP410 has met and exceeded my expectations in convenience and reliability. It's a great buy!

Exactly what I was looking for

Strengths: small, light, clear (both Tx and Rx). The ear insert fit my ear nicely and it felt solid even when I shake my head.

Weakness: None as far as I am concern.

I have been looking for something like this for a while, and have tried other higher price (in-ear) unit (motorola, plantronics), and have been disappointed. Though DSP was suppose to make it better, it made it worst, especially to the person I am talking to. It seem to amplify the sound around me. This one seems to be understated, but works for me.

Exchanged Motorola H500 for Samsung WEP410 Today

Strengths: Excellent sound without echo. Callers are clear and they say I sound like I'm using the handset.

Weakness: None yet.

The inconspicuous device is small, comfortable and well-styled. If you don't like the blinking light you can even disable that using the volume buttons. I took the Motorola H500 back to the store today because all of my callers said there was an unbearable echo and exchanged it for the WEP410. (That is a common complaint with the H500) It cost me an additional $40 but I could have bought it here on Price Grabber and saved money. This one has NO echo! In fact, my son said he can't tell if I'm on the handset or using the WEP410. Going to buy one for my wife and son.

WEP410 Wireless Cell Phone Headset

Strengths: small, portable, light weight, charges quickly, good talk time

Weakness: easy to lose,

This is my second WEP410, I lost my first one taking something out of my pocket. This is only the second blue tooth I have owned, but it does the job

Samsung WEP410 Bluetooth Wireless Headset

Strengths: Good-looking, small, good range, clear sound, well built

Weakness: redial button

I bought this Samsung bluetooth headset because it is small, light, and does not have a big ear hook. Although the headset is small, sound quality does not sacrifice. People can hear me very well, but sometimes they could tell I was using a headset instead of talking to the phone. I had paired it with notebook and several phones successfully (except for one Nokia cellphone). I also use it to make Skype calls with the notebook. The center button serves call/hang up/last number redial. It will redial if you hit the button accidentally, or it is bumped by other things in the packet. To prevent it from becoming an eavesdropping device for the last person I called, I usually keep it in the charging case. I like it very much - 5 for excellent engineering.

Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: -Pairs with multiple devices (note cannot dynamically switch between them) -Comes with multiple ear bud sizes -Relatively clear

Weakness: Blue and Red light indicators are hard to see because your finger is on the button and it's also pretty dim when red. -Requires the case to charge which is sometimes inconvenient.

I like this headset for the clarity and the easy pairing functionality. It has a good 10-20 foot range before interference sets in. I can't however use it upstairs and downstairs in the house. My favorite feature is the multiple ear bud sizes as I have small ears and the usual ones that go in the ear hurt me.
The mute functionality does not work with my Blackberry nor my LG, but I found it that to be a minor nuisance.
Overall it holds a long change, but charging is a pain because it requires the case. Sometimes the case is bulky and I would prefer the Motorola folding style earpiece.

Great Bluetooth!

Strengths: Small and Light weight

Weakness: Range is weak and the Fit is a little uncomfortable

Very good and small bluetooth. Light and easy to use. Only bad thing is that when it is placed in your ear for a long time it tends to get a little pain in my ear hole. Not sure if that is just me or just the way the Bluettoth is built.

other than that the Samsung WEP410 is a 8/10 in my book!

very convenient

Strengths: comfortable small light

Weakness: mediocre to poor range no real noise canceling

To my surprise, this fits very comfortably in my ear, and has never dropped out accidentally. The sound on my end is good, though it has to be relatively near my treo, because the range isn't as good as some others (like the jabro bt500 or my current favority, the jawbone). Also, it's not so great for outside, since there is little or no noise canceling. On the bright side, it takes no time at all to put it on, so if a call comes in, you can pick up off the console of the car or whatever and still get the call before it hangs up.

Samsung WEP410 Bluetooth Wireless Headset

Strengths: Compact, Competitively priced, Lightweight

Weakness: Reception is variably, Ear pieces can be uncomfortable, Limited charging options

I have had this headset for over a month now. I have owned 4 BT headsets prior to this (including other Samsungs), and I like this one the best. The 410 extends the quality and convenience found in earlier WEPs. It has good standby time and good call quality if you are within range of your phone (not 30 feet, more like 20 feet). I have also found that if the phone is on the side of my body opposite the ear with the 410 I can hear distortion and so can the other party (this is where reception is variable). Considering that this headset can now be had for about $30, the price to value is good. The only other issues I have is that the ear piece (comes with 3 sizes) takes some getting used to, and is made of material that is less malleable than the rubber found in earlier WEPs. The 410 also continues the tradition of a charging "coffin" being required. Though it provides protection when not in use - I usually am wearing it when I am outside my apartment so it doesn't need protection. One has to be gentle with inserting it or else you may eventually loosen the connection to the cradle. Also, only one source to charge is provided: AC. It would be nice to have adapters included for DC and USB considering that many headsets in this price range now include these features. Overall, still a reliable and useful device.

One word of advice on price. Please be cautious of auction sites and other third party sites that are not based in the US. Many of these carry very similar counterfeits. Comparison shop, but do so carefully.

Very nice headset

Strengths: clear sound, great battery life, sleek, comes with adjustable earpieces

Weakness: none

One of the best headsets I bought so far. This is so sleek and good looking. The sound quality is also very good. Controls are not best, but still very good. The best part is it comes with 3 adjustable earpieces. I am very happy with this purchase..I bought another one for my cousin...

Great Buy

Strengths: tiny (really has to be seen to be believed), call clarity, comfort

Weakness: some background noise during a few calls

The Samsung WEP410 is a great little bluetooth headset. It's small (VERY small), stylish, and comfortable. Calls sound very clear, both on my end on the other person's end (believe me, I've asked), and volume is more than loud enough for most situations. I did experience a few instances where background noise did become a problem, but it only happens every so often. The fit is very comfortable (for me anyways), and includes several different size ear pieces to ensure the correct fit (it fits in the ear, not over the ear with a wrap around piece, which I like). I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a quality bluethooth headset at an affordable price.

good and affordable

Strengths: small, great design, good price

Weakness: no noise canceling function, not comfortable to wear for a long time

The size is small (sometime too small, i always carry it in the charging case).
lack noise canceling but the sound quality is not bad. if there's option for mini USB as a charging cable, would be great as all the new phones are using it.

Great Product

Strengths: Smaller size, sleek, good looking, great sound quality, nice battery life

Weakness: no over the ear hook, little bit of static

I really like this headset. I ordered it from buy.com. It seems to be made really well. The small size is nice. Also, the inside the ear type is nice as well. The sound from this little guy is awesome. The range is pretty good as well. This is a really nice headset for someone who wants good quality from a well known name like samsung for a relatively small price tag.

Great little gadget!

Strengths: Small device. Doesn't have over the ear hook that makes it uncomfortable (for me at least). It also comes with a storage case. Very clear connection.

Weakness: Because of its small size, the number of buttons that are on there are limited. There are one button on each side of the earpiece for the volume and there are too many functions on one button.

I like the additional earbuds that come with it so I can choose which one fits me best. It also has a very clear connection but experiences static if I move about 10 feet from the phone. I always get confused on how to switch calls on the headset and end up calling the last number I dialed. You should read the manual before using it in the car because you might hang up by mistake and end up using the actual phone to look for the number. The storage case is great for storing it in my bag so it doesn't get broken by my books and other objects.

Samsung WEP 410 Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Good sound quality, easy to use, includes carry case/charging base.

Weakness: No ear hook.

Just recevied today and so far so good, easy to use/pair, very few buttons make this easier to use, love the charging base/carrying case combo, makes carrying the headset in my bag easy/don't have to worry about losing or breaking the headset. Comes with an adapter for samsung cell phone charger and extra ear pieces as well as 3 different sizes. Would recommend!

subtle enough

Strengths: Good sound quality. Compact. No earhook needed.

Weakness: Too easy to accidently press the button and call-back the last caller...

I was pleasantly surprised at what a compact earpiece this is. I was looking for a headset that fit well without an earhook. I replaced the default earpiece with a slightly larger one of the multiple sizes they provide. This earpiece is so snug and so lightweight that I can wear this while riding my bike and it fits securely without any problems. Even with my phone in my pocket, the sound quality is excellent. I wish this had some sort of fold-over flap to cover the large button, so I could put this in my pocket without worrying about calling someone. As it is now I have to put this in its case or turn it off when putting it away. Both are slightly inconvenient options.

Samsung WEP410 Bluetooth Headset -- does its job well

Strengths: Stylish small form, light weight, redial, voice dial supported. Blue LED light flashing can be disabled to save power.

Weakness: Easy to lose due to its small form. Eargel may not fit well to all, which is critical to secure the headset since no ear hook is provided. Internal rechargeable battery cannot be replaced.

- Bluetooth pairing is very easy, and it was paired with my Sprint HTC Mogul within seconds.

- This headset is small and light weight, makes you not aware its presence if you started to wear it for long. Sometimes it is not a good thing as you might lose it without knowing it.

- It redials the last number if you quickly press the main multi-function button, handy at times. Voice-dialing also supported, and works well with WM6. I use it all the time and never had it mis-dialed.

- Voice is clear and other parties hear you just fine, no comlaints received so far.

- Indicator light can be deactivated to save power, which is a nice feature.

- Charging is easy, just put it in the charge case, plug in your wall unit and off you go.
SUMMARY
Overall, very satisfied with my purchase so far, just hope the rechargeable battery will last longer then my last one did. The battery on my Logitech headset died on me after only couple months of usage, and can't be changed!

Stylish Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Compact & Stylish

Weakness: None

When I first saw the WEP410, I was surprise with its size, it is very small but well build. The reception is clear, but you can't go too far away from the phone. The buttons may be too small for people with big hand, but it is ok to me. WEP410 fitted to my ear very nicely.

little size, big sound

Strengths: tiny, stylish, long battery life, good sound

Weakness: small buttons, no ear hook. does not pick up call when charging

just got this bluetooth headset from buy.com. The headset is very small and stylish comparing with my old Sony headset. it fits into ear well. but since there is no ear hook, it feels that it may slip out of the ear. for some reason, charger cord does not plug in securely. the sound quality is overall good, but could be a little bit louder. anyway, for $25, this is a good buy.

Great headset

Strengths: small, clear sound and long battery life

Weakness: Not good in noisy environment

It is a great headset at an affordable price. Small but does the work properly. Good connection and clear sound. However, the microphone picks up sounds so easily, which could be a little bit troublesome in a noisy environment.

A nice headset

Strengths: Easy to charge, very light, and clear call quality

Weakness: Sometimes it slips out of the ears

I used an old Jabra headset before with the earhook. It got a little uncomfortable to use and it was hard to hear. With the Samsung WEP410 there is no such problem. The headset is very small and light. Also, since it fits in the ear snuggly there is no problem of trying to hear what the other caller is saying. The only down side is sometimes it slips out of the ear and I have to readjust it.

Tiny earpice

Strengths: tiny size, about 1cm x 3 cm,

Weakness: volume buttons, almost impossible to adjust while it's actually in my ear.

I just bought this bluetooth ear piece and have been using it for a week. It's strengths are it's tiny size, about 1cm x 3 cm, it's comfort (it sits within the ear canal- comes with three different ear pieces), and it's relative long battery life, 70 hours standby and 4 hours of talk time. The only weakness I've found so far is the small size of it's volume buttons, almost impossible to adjust while it's actually in my ear. Pricey but worth it if you are looking for the newest coolest ear piece.

Samsung WEP410 Wireless Cell Phone Headset

Strengths: Small design, fit both ears, clear sound, nice packaging, price

Weakness: Could be a bit louder

Love this Samsung BT headset. It comes in a nice box package that includes the carrying/charging case, the charger and other earpiece covers of varying sizes. This thing is small and looks inconspicuously cool. The sound quality was clear but I wish it could be a tad louder. I have to agree with the other reviewer that the redial button can be very easily activated if left in pocket. Overall, it is a very good headset at a good price.

Sleek ans Sexy

Strengths: STYLE,Size, battery life, clarity

Weakness: doesnt have option for ear support

Great product. love it. Pretty much anything samsung makes is of top notch quality for the price.
Only thing is that mine came with only one ear plug so it doesnt fit very well tends to fall off every now and then.Ear supportwould be nice.
Although I never recieved the product first time it was shipped to me, I had to wait for a while but eventually cellguys did send me one and finally i was able to use one.

Stylish n worth

Strengths: great Sound

Weakness: Not fit for Small ears

Worth for the price I paid. Better than any Jabra. A quick tap of the main control button will redial the number of your last cell phone call. This means that you can't drop this in your pocket without first turning it off because you will almost certainly accidentally hit the button and start calling people without your knowledge. There is no way to deactivate this feature.

Great buy

Strengths: Looks great, case included, extremely clear on both ends

Weakness: none

I bought this headset as a replacement for the stock Motorola bluetooth headset that came in a package deal with my UT Starcom (Audiovox) XV6700. With the stock headset, I couldn't get it to sit right on my ear, I couldn't hear what people were saying to me, and they couldn't hear me. I purchased this headset, and what a difference it has made. The conversations on both ends of the call are clear, most of the time the other party doesn't even know I'm on a headset. The noise cancellation is so good that I can drive in a convertible with the top down, wind blowing, and the only way that my girlfriend knew I was driving was that she heard my turn signal. The case/charger is great if you carry it with you, but don't want to keep it in your ear at all times. And the thing just looks cool. The only negative thing that I have to say is that it was supposed to come with 3 earpieces of different sizes, and mine only came with the one stock earpiece. I am in the process of talking to the company that I bought it from to see if I can get the other pieces to get a better fit. Right now, the headset shakes loose with a lot of head movement. But the company (cellguys) has been a pleasure to do business with, and the turn around time between the order and receiving the product was great.

Samsung WEP 410 Review

Strengths: Great call quality and easy to use. Better than Samsung WEP 200 in sound quality, looks, and voice clarity. Long battery life.

Weakness: Charger case required to charge headset. This annoyance is minimal but can be annoying for travel. A little bigger than the WEP 200.

This headset is good on all fronts. I already have a Samsung WEP200 which is a pretty good headset already but Samsung's made some nice improvements with this newer model. And while the WEP410 didn't blow the WEP200 out of the water, it did have better sound clarity and does look cooler than the WEP200 and most other headsets. It's also pretty affordable. If you're looking for a quality headset at a decent price, give this a good look.

Samsung WEP410 handsfree device

Strengths: Small, comfortable fit, great sound volume

Weakness: Disconnects after a period of inactivity and when you charge it.

This is a great handsfree device. The mini-size of it demands a lot of attention from passer by's. The charging case adds extra protection to the unit when not in use. The volume control is great. Some people talk about how small the controls are but I have extra large hands and they are fine for me. The + volume is on one side of the unit while the - is on the opposite side. The on/off button is located in an inconvenient place when you go to put the unit in your ear. It takes some gettting used to so that you don't push the button when as you put the unit in. Also, when quickly depressing the button, the unit redials the last number dialed. This is great if that is what you want to do but most of the time I am pressing the button to hang up and the other party has hung up before me making the unit think that I want to redial the last number.
fyi, keep an eye on the phone when dialing and hanging
up.
This is a great handsfree device despite the few annoyances it has. I would highly recommend it.
