Strengths: Good product. Does what it is suppose to.

Weakness: None as it works great even after erasing it several times

Bought this product from buy.com and it is very reasonably priced. It does mention that it reduces tape dust. The label does not mention that so I presume it does that. I read on several different reviews that this tape is far better than the JVC tapes. All my tapes a Panasonic and do not have a problem with them. I do use a tape head cleaner to minimize any tape head wear.

Panasonic Mini DV cassettes

Strengths: Video Quality, Price.

Weakness: None So far.

Bought this 3 pack mini dv cassettes to my panasonic camcorder and so far it is producing an excellent video quality. Not expensive like other brands. There are some expensive DV cassettes available in the market with micro chip, etc, but please check whether your camcorder will make use of those chips, if not it is a waste spending money on those expensive cassettes.

Very good Mini DV. I have used this tape for more than a fortnight now and found the quality of videos to be fine. I purchased it for my Sony and it works very well there. It is compact and easy to carry a spare if needed. The price is reasonable.

Panasonic MIniDV Tapes are great in quality and working great with my camcorder. The cost of these tapes are also very reasonable as compare to other brands. Would recommend to others.

Panasonic Mini DV Tapes

Strengths: Consistent quality over and over again

I have used those tapes for about a year now and I am buying more today.
They just work great, beautiful picture quality, no manufacturing defects, but first and foremost, more reliable than the cheapest JVC tapes which have a tendency, for me at least, to break down faster.

This was my first camcorder purchase and therefore my first mini dv tape purchase. I got a good deal on these tapes along with the camcorder and from various sites it seemed like Panasonic got good reviews for quality. I'm not a real video expert, but the quality of these tapes is definitey adequate for everyday recording and viewing.

These Panasonic MiniDV tapes were great for family vacations. The quality is superb and is as good as any other brand. These are high quality cassettes that will not disappoint.

I've had no issues with them and were not cheap in quality in anyway. Great Video and Audio Quality.

I was able to pick it up at Circuit City during Black Friday for Free After Rebate!!

I would definitely buy these tapes again.

Would use again, A+. Tapes came in and is what I need for my camera. Panisonic is a great name and you can't go wrong there. I am satisfied with the purchase and really have no more to say. It's not like it was a big purchase, but I am happy, never-the-less.

Strengths: reasonable price (with MIRs available from manufacture)

Weakness: no

In my opinion, it is a good deal (currently Panasonic has a promotion for this pack). The normal cost for a mini tape is $5-6 for a famous brand, e.g. SONY, Panasonic, Fuji. You can get $3 each when it goes for sale or JVC brand. I really do not know the difference between each brands. I have Fuji, SONY, and Panasonic. All of them works very well so far. Maybe after years usage, I can come back here and upgrade my review to see which brand lasts longer.

Weakness: Costly

Costly product. Sony MiniCV tapes cost only $3.00/- per tape. Sony DVM60EXM2 has a chip which is used to search the tape based on the recording date.
