MPN: T5G941
Strengths: Large easy to read display, Affordable
Weakness: Basic functions only with few options
This hear rate monitor watch from Timex does what it advertises. It can track your heart rate during a workout and allows to review the data. You can view the average, peak, and minimum heart rate. The display is very clear and easy to read. The battery can be replaced. It only includes basic functions and I wish it had a few more bells and whistles.

TopStrengths: CHEAP!!! Working with gym equipment, lightweight.
Weakness: None
You can't go wrong with monitor for less then $30. I am not an outdoor runner, but I run on treadmill at least twice a week. If you don't need bells and whistles of $100 monitor and you will use the hr monitor not only to impress your friends, but in actual exercising as well, you won't need anything more then this one. Almost all treadmills and elliptic trainers in my gym can peak up the signal. This is why I don't really use the watch-monitor itself. Chest band is very comfortable. After 2 month the monitor and treadmills lost the signal only twice, but probably because the sensor piece was not wet enough. Overall, it is a great monitor for less then 30 bucks, which will help you to loose few additional pounds.

It's Got Your Numbers!
Strengths: Price
Weakness: No audible alarm feature.
Good value for an entry level unit. I would of preferred one with an alarm feature but for the price I can't complain. On the plus side, it has large easy to read display with an Indiglo night-light, a workout review that recalls activity time, average and peak heart rate. Also the chest sensor works with interactive existing gym equipment without wearing the wristband. All said, anyone serious about exercising and/or keeping tabs on their heart rate needs a monitor and this one certainly accomplishes that at a reasonable price.
