Good quality card, but there are faster ones out...

Strengths: Durable build, lifetime warranty, lower price.

Weakness: May be too slow for a digital camera.

Picked up this card on the cheap (thanks to a rebate), and have tried it out on an MP3 player and a 5-megapixel digital camera. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty, but judging by the quality of the build, I doubt you will ever use the warranty. It worked great in the MP3 player, and my only gripe was the length of time it took to transfer the songs to the player. Trying it out on the camera, it took about 4 or 5 seconds to write each picture. This made it impossible to take shots one after another. Surprisingly it wrote the video/movie shots without any problems. Therefore I will keep this card for my MP3 player, but will stick with my Ultra high speed card for my camera.

Kingston 1GB Secure Digital Card

Strengths: Value

Weakness: Slower

Good value for the money. Lifetime warranty is nice for piece of mind. Nice size, can fit almost 900 photos on this card from my digital camera. The card does seem to transfer a little slowly though.

1GB Kingston SD Memory Card

Strengths: Reliability, large capacity, small physical size, bargain priced, on sale, extra 10% off cooupon, free shipping, $14.00 rebate, and a $5.00 review bonus equals a real bargain.

Weakness: None that I have found.

Not too long ago this was selling for around $100 retail. I could not pass up the deal that I got on this. After all the discounts, rebates, etc... I ended up paying $7.00!!! No longer will I have to use a handfull of smaller SD cards to transfer files. This large 1GB capacity card has plenty of space for all I'll ever move.

it just works

Weakness: not the fastest card there is

this card works fine in my Canon SD600. I've shot hi-res pictures as well as videos with it and haven't experienced any problems with it.

I even used it on my Dell Axim PDA with no problems.

very good quality SD card

Strengths: reliable and overall quality is very good

Weakness: None

I use it mainly in my Canon digital camera. It is very reliable and I am very happy with the quality of this memory card. The speed is not the fastest, but for me it is good enough.

Does the job

Strengths: Works, no problems at all.

Weakness: None

The card does it's job as it should. It has decent read/write speed, is 1GB, and it's a Kingston product - you can't beat it. Great if you get it with a rebate!

Kingston 1 GB SD

Strengths: Price, Extended warranty

Weakness: Relatively slower speed

I have used this card with Minolta digital camera as well as Palm Treo 650. So far I am certainly satisfied with its performance. 5 year warranty is certainly worth mentioning. The speed may be little slow but overall, it is a great buy.

1GB SD Kingston

Strengths: Works as advertised. Lifetime warranty

Weakness: Not too fast.

This is a regular speed 1GB SD card that works as advertised and carries excellent lifetime warranty from manufacturer. inspite of availability of 4GB cards, this suffices for a 5-7 Megapixel camera. but it is not very suitable for high-speed photography or video recording as its write speed is slow. its hard to beat for the price.

Gave up the ghost

Strengths: Worked great 8 months

Weakness: Suddenly went junk

Fine for 8 months in my Treo 650. One day it was unrecognizable to both my Treo and my computer. So many hours of inputting tunes, photos, so many hours labeling and categorizing--poof, gone.

Kingston 1gigabyte secure digital card

Strengths: With 1 gigabyte secure digital card is a lot of space. Can use it as USB memory space too if one have a adapter for it.

Weakness: Speed is not fast enough, whenever try to save large file, it might take some time.

Low price for 1 gigabyte memory card, enough for digital camera, or my PDA. Speed is my main concern, therefore it work out for me. For anyone that need fast access, this is not the card.

Kingston 1GB SD card (SD/1GBKR)

Strengths: Inexpensive ($10 after rebate), compatible with digicams and Palm PDAs, Name brand reliability with free tech support

Weakness: None noted

This card works well in the 3.2 megapixel digicams I got for my kids. I don't notice any speed difference between this card and the more expensive ones that claim higher speeds when used in both the digicams and the Palm PDAs. I liked the first one I bought a few weeks ago so much I just got another with the new rebate.

Weakness: Not the best avaliable, but how can you complain if you only pay a fracntion for it?

I bought it because Kingston is a well recognized name in memory business. The price is good also. I purchased its 512mb sd card about a year before and that one has no problem for me. That one cost-ed me about twice(after rebate) as much I expected for this one(after rebate) The price of flash memory drops drastically, if you don't need now, you certainly can wait longer and get cheaper.

Fast Memory - Works with Treo 700p

Strengths: Fast. No hiccups.

I've used the memory flawlessly in the Treo 700p. With the right software, my Treo is now a 1GB USB drive. Zero problems. This memory is fast and works exactly as you'd hope.

Strengths: Good quality. Reliability of Kingston products.

I always love Kingston products. Although this card is a little bit slower, it's OK for my littel digital camera. Can't beat the price. I bought it at $10 after rebate.

This is a solid SD card and works great at a great price...The only drawback I can find is that the card is rather slow. However because of this, you can usually find it for a good price.

Kingston Quality & Excellent Price

I bought this to take files with me from my home in Ohio to Florida. It works great and with the small size I can carry my files in my wallet!
