Strengths: Weight, attractiveness, face (easy to read), band and clasp.
Weakness: Kinetic movement memory could be longer, and the date window on the dial (hard to read).
I bought this watch as a gift for my adult son, who previously had a top-of-the line Seiko and a Breitling...both of which held up well.
But he requested an Invicta, specifically the stainless steel and gold-plated Pro Diver. What a great choice. He LOVES the watch and has no complaints.
I, however, wore it for a couple of days before I gave it to him to make sure it worked, and found the date window hard to read. And because I took the watch off so many times throughout the day to avoid getting it wet, I had to reset the time if the watch sat on the counter (or sink basin) for too long.

TopStrengths: Fantastic appearance; does not look cheap; people mistake for a Rolex
Weakness: The stainless middle section of the band scratches easily.
This automatic watch is a real headturner. I really like the two-tone design, and the blue face stands out (I prefer it over the black version). It is a heavy watch and at its price can be seen as a beater watch, but I treat it with so much care as if it's an expensive watch (which most people mistake it as). The middle stainless section of the band easily scratches, like most other Invictas of this type of band. This automatic watch has a great open back mechanism to view its movement. I wish it would stay running longer if not used. I normally have to adjust the time after just over a day of not being in use. I'd recommend a watch winder for this.

Invicta Automatic Pro Diver Mens Watch
Strengths: Great looking, substantial, rock solid precision timepiece
Weakness: wide price variations "cheapens" brand name
Watch looks as good in person as it does on the web. Model 8928A matches my school colors/college ring - a fine timepiece and a fine piece of jewelry. Watch band is as attractive as the watch. A great all around timepiece. Can be worn with a tux a well as a wetsuit. Perfect watch for all occasions. Timekeeping is good enough for an autowind. The Invicta 89xx series comes in a variety of colors. The Japanese autowind mechanism shows through the transparent backpiece - a nice touch. Invicta sells a similar style with a Swiss movement for a higher price - they are more attractively finished inside and out - but this watch is a steal for the price. Have read that the watch needs service at the 4 to 5 year mark - for the price buy another one!
Prices for this watch are all over the place. There is as much as a 40+ dollar variation among web discounters - all who claim lowest prices. This tends to cheapen the product and brand name - which is trying to stake a claim as a quality entry level luxury item.
Overall - this is a bargain in Rolex "submariner" clones. A quality timepiece one needs to make no excuses for. If you are a collector - the Invicta 89xx series is one you should own, wear and display.
